For Avalon Landing RV Park: We were pleased with our choice to stay here for two nights. The staff was very friendly and the grounds are well kept. The road is nearby so there is some noise but the further you are away it fades quickly. We had a spot on the water that was a real treat. There are more spots than one would initially see. Some are shaded while others are not. Pensacola is a drive which is both good and bad. NAS is about 20 miles for a reference. We would definitely stay here again.

Gary
For Avalon Landing RV Park: A great park and one of our favorite stopovers.
There’s not many pull-through sites so a reservation is needed. However, they charge a deposit which isn’t refundable and they’re very tight on changes. They’d get five stars if they’d relax their refund/reservation/change policies.

For Avalon Landing RV Park: Price $56 (with Good Sam) to park with my coffee-drinking chair ready for the morning, overlooking a cute bridge over a waterway. Full hookups, easily accessible with level concrete pads. Management was accommodating to help us park and find our spot. A little store to get ice. Short distance from interstate but far enough away to muffle traffic noise. Would definitely recommend it and gave 5 stars.

For Avalon Landing RV Park: Nice, clean park. Good sized sites and we got lucky enough to get near some full timers who could not have been more helpful or nicer (Jerry and Dee you know who you are)! Nice friendly staff as long as you understand the rules and obey them. The only negative for me was the no refund policy in case of a highway breakdown. I found that to be harsh but we stayed anyway. Next time I would find another park just on principle, but that’s just me!

Andrea
For Avalon Landing RV Park: Nice little park, clean, well maintained, level sites, concrete patio, nice picnic table & grassy area, packed gravel spot, good sized spot, nice waterway winding throughout where people can kayak on flat water. Buddy sites available, too- ours had two sets of FHU’s, but fit our 37’ TT+long bed crew cab 2500 no problem. Didn’t need to unhook.
We had a tire blow out and had to scramble for a place to stay at 7pm. Most places were closed but they had a message saying to check their board for after hours availablilty so we took a gamble and limped there on our spare. A kind host saw us come in and escorted us to a lovely, flat pull through. We settled up in the morning, and were at Discount Tire early (15min away). We would definitely stay here again. $59.47 after GS discount and tax.

For Avalon Landing RV Park: This is a nice, clean park with gravel roads and pads. Sites are level and spacing between the sites is very good. Sites are at an angle, so backing in is not difficult. There are 20/30/50 amp hookups, water, sewer, and cable. There are laundry facilities on-site as well. There is a canal that runs through the middle of the park, and a marsh behind it. It makes for nice scenery.
Pricing isn't too bad, although a little higher than I would have liked ($50/night on the canal, $41 off the canal).
There is a much traveled two lane highway that runs right next to the park. The traffic noise was noticeable. It was not unbearable, but was a thing. This might be a more traveled road because one of the other major bridges into Pensacola was knocked out by Hurricane Sally, increasing the traffic on the road outside the RV park. This increased traffic also made it a bit of a challenge to get in and out of the park.
We had great AT&T service. We stayed in our 35' fifth wheel, and we would stay there again if we were in the area.
