For Sebastian Inlet State Park: Great park and beach except for one big problem. No see ums (biting nats) will eat you no matter where you are in the park even the beach and parking lots in morning or evening. Spent all of our time outside at the campsite with bug spray, thermacell and fans. Only time without bugs was the middle of sunny days in the open areas. Ranger said January is the only time without no-see ums.

For Sebastian Inlet State Park: We stayed in #47 which is in back. Selected because ranger asked if we enjoyed privacy. Sites that front inlet have road between water and site used for boat ramp open 24 hours. Site was clean and raked. Electric was on right. Water was on left in a split outlet shared with site to left. Not ideal but just took extra hose. Really enjoyable bike path on well grated access road through the mangroves; about 3 miles. Beach is easy bike ride and typical florida east coast. People are mad for fishing here, so if that’s your thing you’ll be in heaven. We didn’t cross the bridge of doom (narrow A1A) to get to swim area because we have little ones with limited biking skills. Spoke to visitors who did who complained about trash. Don’t know. I would say the facilities here are clean, well kept, and safe. We will come again when it’s cooler. Oh and the noseeums are no joke. Bug spray is recommended... or sealed hazmat suit. They will find you and they will bite you. Really I’m being dramatic, they were present at sundown but manageable.

For Sebastian Inlet State Park: My favorite campground I love the beach kayaking fishing and the staff . The bathrooms are very clean .
The only downfall is the Noseeim bugs :0/
The only thing that works in keeping them away is OFF with 40% DEET !

For Sebastian Inlet State Park: Beautiful area on inlet to ocean and beach access. PROBLEM - No seems (biting nats) are the worse I have ever experienced, they eat you alive!
Left after one nights stay, will never go back to camp.
Spent several weeks at doctors to heal these bites. Fly right through normal screens and are in the sand and grass.

For Sebastian Inlet State Park: Made a reservation 6 months in advance and when we arrived our site was next to the dump station so all we heard and saw all day was, guess what. One new bath house and one was very old and moldy and in need of total rehab. We would never go back.

For Sebastian Inlet State Park: This is one of the nicest state parks we have visited especially if you like fishing and treasure hunting. Beach is within walking distance as well as the fishing jetties. The museums are great, plenty of restaurants in the area as well. Bath houses are very clean with plenty of hot water!!!! Will definitely be back to this wonderful park.
