For Osprey Cove RV Park: Great RV Campground in Jacksonville near the beach… Husband and I have been traveling in the RV for 2 years and found this campground a great place to stay. Full hookups, cable, WiFi, beach access (few blocks away), good food (golf course grill), free laundry, spacious spots, large concrete pads, great camp host (Ed), amazing food outside the gate, safe environment, & a lovely setting ~ what’s not to love! We hope to be back for another week…

For Osprey Cove RV Park: Internet is sketchy. We used hotspot to connect to zoom meetings Lots of active duty staying here. They buy a camper, collect their extra money to live off base, then clog up the MWR park by living here for six months. Government needs to wise up, put the active duty in base housing But base housing here can be rented by ANYBODY!!! Don’t have to be affiliated with the military or DOD to rent a house on this naval station Why are these houses empty? One reason is the active duty are living in the camp grounds. It makes it hard to get a reservation, noisy with lots of kids who constantly go around looking for other kids to play with, or, a camper sits there with absolutely no one living in it. So, if you don’t mind camping as if you are living in base housing, this is the place for you. It’s a quick walk to the beach, so I give it a two. This is osprey—-don’t confuse it with pelican roost which is on the other side of the base. I am retired from the military I believe active duty should use MWR facilities only while they are on leave. This is abuse of the MWR system. This is our second year coming here. It’s our last. There are many places to stay in this area that are non military that are less expensive and offer more. and I believe the bears see RV parks as ugly step children. Last year they said this year would be better wifi. The price went up, but the wifi is not reliable The showers are okay, but we shower in our rig. Free laundry is nice, but remember, you are competing for the laundry with those who live here full time. It could be much much better. But it won’t change because there are literally hundreds of folks who are calling today to get in here. It’s completely full —but many are active duty hitching a ride.

For Osprey Cove RV Park: We are new RV full-timers and this was our 1st stop in our new Bounder. Excellent pull through site that overlooked the water. Will stay again for sure.

Spiders get in and more dirt than grass
Trees make a mess on roof.

For Osprey Cove RV Park: This area is pretty quiet but it's mostly overflow for the other RV park. Hosts were good and free laundry is nice.
