Dick
For John Prince Park Campground: This camp ground is exceptional. It is part of a very large county park with golf, tennis, volleyball, boating, paved paths, pavilion with exercise machines, exercise trail, dog runs, etc. If you have bikes there are convoluted miles to cover around the lake.
The campground has seen several expansions over the years. The original lakeside front part is now mostly tents and small units. Spacing is a bit tight; some are level; 30 amp and water; 14 day max.
Later development on the south end and lakeside has longer and wider 50 amp/sewer sites for larger rigs. There are a dozen pull-through sites in the back by the airport.
The major part of the sites away from the lake are part of the final expansion and are very typical in size and spacing.
Levelness can be an issue for motor homes. Look at sites before deciding. Do not expect good WiFi. Electric is very good. Water pressure regulators are standard. The office accepts package deliveries for long term campers. Expect private airplane activity during the day and week ends.

For John Prince Park Campground: We had a lovely site next to the water because we were staying only 2 nights. Campers staying longer are located farther away from the water and spaces are much closer together. The park is isolated from the urban area surrounding it. Sites are paved and full hookups available for longer stays. The facilities leave a lot to be desired, tiny and cramped, bare basics only.

Halfloaf
For John Prince Park Campground: Here in the "summer" (Ends in October) when only the far end of the campground is open. These spaces are wide paved spaces with a large area of grass between them. Selected a "lakeside" space where the space is about 20 feet of grass from the lake. Drove past the additional "winter" section where the spaces are closer together. Very quiet despite the urban setting, You would think you were in the countryside - the park has a large buffer around the camping area and the camping area is gated from the rest of the park. Did not use the facilities so can't comment on them... the buildings look a little older. Staff very friendly.

For John Prince Park Campground: What a gem! We were at the end and had a large grassy area around us. We were treated to a parade of waterfowl. So pretty. Attendant was very helpful,

For John Prince Park Campground: Nice country run park, paved sites, some level, some not. Many with only power & water but $8 honey wagon operates 3 days a week. Sewer planned soon apparently. Internet unreliable, lacks pool.

Roxie
For John Prince Park Campground: I spent a week here in Nov 2014 and would come back again. The staff I met were friendly, campground and facilities were clean. There is a lot of places to walk in the park plus it's convenient to beach and golf. A very nice park.
