For Hog Pen NF Hunt Camp: We stayed here for two nights in late March 2021. Very nice primitive campground with one vault toilet that was kept clean. No water, but you can get it nearby. The sites are well spaced apart, but our site got a little muddy after some rain, plus the mosquitos were fierce at dusk. A great camp host and friendly campers - overall a nice stay.

For Hog Pen NF Hunt Camp: We stayed one night early July passing through. Remote (3 1/2 miles into the NF on a rough washboard dirt road) primitive campsites right on the lake with a boatramp ( if you’re interested). One assessible cement pad. It was beautiful. Perfect old Florida. We were ENTIRELY ALONE, so slightly creepy, but we had a great night sleep and beautiful lake views for our morning coffee.

For Hog Pen NF Hunt Camp: I am actually staying at ocean pond not far up the road. This is a great primitive campground. Lots of trees and private sites. I rode my bike through today. Did not check bathrooms but if I come back to this area I will stay here.
