For Sherwood Forest RV Resort: Overall, a nice campground. We stayed for free for two-weeks via a Thousand Trails annual Encore Pass. It's an older park and it's showing it's age. You park in grass with cement pads throughout the park, but every cement pad is cracked and broken. There's also a lot of permanent mobile homes on site but they seem to be in good condition. The pool and jacuzzi are nice, but they close at 7 pm, way before it gets dark. The campground uses a key access card to get into all facilities (bath houses, laundry, pool, etc.) but they only provide one key per RV. The problem is, you and your family members have to go to the bathhouse one at a time because you need the access key to get in AND to get out (ie: you can't key them into the women's facility, leave and go into the men's side, because the females won't be able to get out.) There's plenty of restaurants and shops within a half mile of the campground. Aldi and CVS are 0.3 miles away. Sam's Club is 2.6 miles away. Would stay again and recommend to all...

For Sherwood Forest RV Resort: This is a really nice resort. Prior to staying here, I was reading all of the negative reviews here; they don’t apply anymore. It seems they have come a long way in cleaning their place up and making it comfortable for the guests. I was put in a dirt pull through lot, there was no mud and it was easy getting in. Electric and water worked flawlessly throughout my stay and staff were friendly. It’s close to old town and lots of restaurants and shopping and minutes from Disney. It’s not a 5 star resort, but we didn’t book one intentionally to save money. This is a nice place to come if you’re on a budget. The dog park is small, but still Large enough to let the dog run around on his own. You will need a key card to access laundry, pool or any recreational facilities, making it slightly more secure. There is a code for the trash compactor. Trash is on the way out on the far side of the campground. Pick up after your dog. Keep it nice for everyone. Don’t be that rotten sour apple.

For Sherwood Forest RV Resort: MANY restaurants just outside the park, and several food delivery services. This was my second stay and both times the Verizon has been less than one would expect for an urban area. Could only get streaming video with my booster and problems even then. The park has paid WiFi that is pretty good for an RV Park. The park gets the job done - nothing special but nothing I would complain about. The gate situation can be a bit odd, occasionally you get a Barney Fife who gets the line backed up to the main road, but it is what it is.

For Sherwood Forest RV Resort: First pull through site we should have never attempted. I level, tight turns in and out and had the 5th wheel wedged for 30 min trying to work my way out. 2nd site wasn’t any better, they finally upgraded us to a grassy mound... for the money paid this place is a complete shit show. 2/3rds the price of Ft Wilderness and 1/100th the quality.
If you’re looking for a place to park anything under 30’ and plan to spend all day at the parks it’s adequate. If you have slide outs don’t expect any room at all to hang out outside.

For Sherwood Forest RV Resort: Expected a top level RV park and was disappointed. At some point this was a nice place. Now it’s very dated, showers were dirty and many long term campers staying for the winter. We purchased a upgraded site otherwise we would have be stuck in the sand. Not what I expected for the price paid. Keep looking there are better places to stay.

For Sherwood Forest RV Resort: Started this trip with no one at the guard gate, or are camping package. When we got a hold of someone they finally gave us a lot. The next night we got interrogated by the Guard at the gate because we didn’t have the sticker on our window. The park is right by Disney and restaurants which makes it a big plus.

For Sherwood Forest RV Resort: A functional urban RV park. A lot of permanent residents and some park models in the section for mobile RVs with even more park models being added. Many restaurants within a few blocks and of course Disney very close. Many of the sites were humped in the middle making leveling a little annoying. Gate guarded at night. Worse Verizon connection than I would I have expected in such an urban location.
