For Pecan Park RV Resort: Really nice Campground overall. Catch and release fishing, ample dog areas, friendly and helpful staff. Also if you’re there on the weekend, there’s a pretty interesting covered flea market next door on weekends. Great fun if that’s your thing. Apparently owned by the management of the campground that they sold to Sun resorts. There’s a front and back section and this place is big. But. The front section is directly under the landing approach of every airplane coming into Jacksonville. Can’t be more than 100 yards over your head. At least they weren’t taking off.

For Pecan Park RV Resort: Most convenient stop contactless management. Free mini golf and weekend waffles. Propane delivered. Close to cool civil war battlefield with available drive/audio tour. Just avoid camping in the single digit sites as everyone drives by with their garbage on the gravel roadway and the pickle ball, pool and corn hole play is pretty much endless and it’s kinda noisy up front.

For Pecan Park RV Resort: BRF. Right off I-95. Easy to maneuver the campground. Sites are paved and double wide. They have added a basketball, tennis and 2 pickle ball courts. One exit away from restaurants and shopping. A great stop for us.

For Pecan Park RV Resort: This was an impromptu stay. We were traveling north to Massachusetts and had to find a place to stay while waiting forT.S. Claudette to pass. Nice big concrete pads. Did not use the facilities, but could see the pool was a very popular place. The staff were friendly. Very close to I95. Like the previous Reviewer said the flight path to the Jacksonville airport was right over head. Did not mind it, quite enjoyed watching the planes go overhead. They finally stopped landing about midnight. I would stay here again.

Meridian Falcon

For Pecan Park RV Resort: Perfect spot for our class A /towing. Right off the interstate so very convenient. Very tidy, nice crew at the desk. Spent 3 nights as convenient to Amelia Island car weekend. I would definitely return, and recommend to others for this area.

JP

For Pecan Park RV Resort: The sites are nice concrete and almost all pull- throughs. The restroom and showers are kept clean, but are few and water often ends up on the floor making it slippery. It is on the expensive side considering that the only significant amenity is a pool; no courts, etc. The layout has the restrooms at the front of the park so it's about 1/4 mile walk from the back sites. The clubhouse is tiny, and for more than a quarter of our visit was locked and only available to a group of maybe a dozen people/sites. The park is doing a lot of work, including a whole new section of sites ) although they will be right next to I 95), and reportedly a new rec building. Six rental tiny houses were moved in during our visit. The real issue potentially is its proximity to Jacksonville Int'l Airport and Navy flight unit; the flight path is directly over your head, and they can be very low and very loud. So, this may be a very significant negative for many. Those are the reasons for the score of three stars.
