For San Carlos RV Park And Islands: Place was great. Some reviewers can never be made happy and complain about everything...lol

For San Carlos RV Park And Islands: The park was very crowded and very smoky. This was a bad combination for us. They typically parked trailers with a tractor because the area was too small for our tow car. We became ill almost immediately because of the smoke. We could move in till morning and the people next to us refused to stop chain smoking for 30 minutes while we unhooked and got out. The second site they put us in had no nearby smokers but was boarded on two sides by wall so I had no ventilation. We were right next to the work yard and a few of the workmen smoked in front of our trailer during the break. We became ill almost immediately because of the smoke. We could move in till morning and the people next to us refused to stop chain smoking for 30 minutes while we unhooked and got out. The second site they put us in had no nearby smokers but was boarded on two sides by wall so I had no ventilation. We were right next to the work yard and a few of the workmen smoked in front of our trailer during the break. The third site also had smokers but had a good breeze so we were able to enjoy a reasonable night before we left to go get medical help for what turned out to be bronchitis, probably caused by the smoke. The hot tub and swimming pool were non-smoking but surrounded by smokers and had no ventilation. The laundry area was very smoky and had a sign-up list that made it difficult for transients to do wash The site is about 15 minutes from the golf and is located on a trolley stop so it is very convenient. If breathing is not in your list of the Saturdays this is a fine place. The office staff was very nice but the owner was kind of a jerk about non-smoking.

For San Carlos RV Park And Islands: Great find! Excellent location to everything in ft. Myers area. Nice pool. The sites backing up to the water area ideal. Would stay again
