For Atlantic Beach - Fort Clinch State Park: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Fort Clinch State Park Atlantic Campground. Getting to the campground is all on good roads. The roads in the campground are paved and in good condition. Trees are all trimmed back so they do not hit the motorhome. The campground office was open and everyone were friendly. They give you a map to your site. No camp store. There is a large area for parking while checking in. Sites have fire pits and firewood is available at the nearby stores. Our site was 3, a back in site with a picnic table. Good view of the ocean. Our site was level. The site was dry. The site was crushed shell. The campground has no seasonal folks. The bath house is very nice and clean. The camp host were great. Laundry is basic with only one washer and dryer. There is no pool, ping pond, basketball, cornhole, but you have a beach. There is no restaurant on site, but the campground is close to town. No Cable TV service is available. No Wifi is available. Over the air antenna was good. No road noise to note.
Our site was long and wide. Lots of room. The grounds were well maintained and looked nice. There is good spacing between each site. I like sites 3, 9 and 7 are my favorite. We would come back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For Atlantic Beach - Fort Clinch State Park: Friendly park attendants, lots of uninhabited beach, & bright, clean, well maintained bath houses make this park a place we ll return to!

For Atlantic Beach - Fort Clinch State Park: I love the beach campground. Paved road, packed sand sites and good space between sites. No shade in the beach sites but that means less bugs. Water and electric only but a nearby dump station. Easy access to the beach and it is visable from most sites. Long, 2 mile road with many over hanging tree limbs and moss to get to campground. Would not recommend arriving after dark.

For Atlantic Beach - Fort Clinch State Park: We stayed on the beach side and it was real nice. The campers preaty much have the beach to themselves. Very private. Took a long bike ride around which was nice for a change. Its mostly shady so you can ride any time of day. Went over to the fort and paid the extra fee to see it. FYI: You can see the museum to the right for free. So if you decide you want to see the real fort later, just wait. We paid up front and it was too much on a hot day. Still! It was a great park. We will be back for a longer time.
