For Ellenton Gardens Travel Resort: We stayed here as it was the closest park to see some friends of our nearby. The staff was friendly and welcoming but the write up for the park isn't exactly correct. There may be 196 sites but they are not spacious as advertised. We were put into a site with a park model on one side and an rv on the other. I couldn't extend my awning without bumping the next trailer and I was within 3 feet of a shed on the opposite side. The electric connection was on the door side of the trailer... At the full extent of my cable while the sewer connection was an uphill stretch to the opposite corner of the site. We had a dog with us and asked about the dog walking area... We were told not to bother with the area. There was no wifi or tv but the don't advertise them either. The complaints aside... The pond is very nice with a fountain in the middle and ducks land there regularly. They even have decoys out to attract them. The pool and other facilities are clean and well kept. If you just need a place to sleep... It isn't bad... But it is not a primo park.
