For WP Franklin North: Andrew, CG host, went out of his way to accommodate not only me but others. He was patient with my confused ‘senior moment’ & sorted out my site #! Thank you Andrew! The campground is lovely & close to shopping.

For WP Franklin North: Too small a CG for A classes!!! Maximum length is 35ft which doesn’t take in the toad / 2nd vehicle then all their toys, barking dogs, & guests. And there’s a limit to 2 dumps per 14 days tells you the limitations of this CG. Feels tight & overwhelmed, especially on weekends with PUBLIC boat launch & fishing pier visitors. Won’t return.

For WP Franklin North: We stayed here for three days in early November, 2017. This is a wonderful camping area. All sites have water views, electric and water (but no sewer). Dawn views are tremendous! The staff does a remarkable job in keeping all facilities, including the sites, in excellent condition. The only negative thing that occurred was that we witnessed a very loud and obnoxious camper (not a staff member) in a red electric wheelchair give a departing guest absolute hell for taking so long at the dump station, while the staff watched, apparently unable to do anything about him (the guy and staff were all seniors). We will return, however!

For WP Franklin North: Clean, quiet and on the water, you can't beat that. This is a very small campground situated on a dam and lock in between lake okacobee and Fort Myers. If you're in the area they have electric, water and dump. The showers are clean and there is even a library.
