For Lums Pond State Park: Clean, peaceful setting. Lots of trees. Well maintained.Easy access from Rt 71 even w road construction. Self pay after 5. $29. For overnight stay well worth it for a clean bathroom. Hot shower and a quiet nite

For Lums Pond State Park: Campgrounds were very nice. The roads looked to be newly paved. Large fairly level sites. The 2 toilets were set up for handicap access with showers. There were 4 shower only stalls. Very spacious with several hooks and bench. The only down side is that very little floor space stayed dry due to shower overspray.

For Lums Pond State Park: Spent two quiet mid-November nights. Facilities were excellent, and the sites, as mentioned by others, are quite large. The main trail around the pond was closed Mon-Sat due to deer hunters in other area of the park, so hiking was limited to a much shorter trail. Main trail is open Sundays during the deer hunt weeks. Call ahead for season dates. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the park and will return soon. Oh, yes: the helicopter traffic is bothersome as they practice maneuvers in the area, but they did cease sometime after dinner time.
