For Mohegan Sun Casino: We have stayed here a few times since 2020. It is our go to spot for a quick overnight in Connecticut (or you can stay here for up to seven nights!). The parking lot is off Trading Cove Road across from the employee gas station. Once you arrive, call the number on the sign to have security come and give you a free permit. Be sure to have your vehicle and RV registration info handy for the security guard.
The casino is less than .5 mile walk away, and has plenty of great restaurants, shows, and shopping to enjoy. Although their buffet restaurant has not reopened since Covid, which makes us sad! only giving four stars because there is no Dump station here.
Came through last weekend in October this time, parking lot is jampacked full. We find that looking from the entrance, the most level spot is to the rear right of the parking lot. It gets progressively more unlevel as you go left across the parking lot. We have also been here at other times (off-season and mid week) with only a few rigs in the lot.

For Mohegan Sun Casino: There are no signs at all indicating where the NEW RV PARKING LOT IS. The old one ( off of Mohegan Bld near the bus parking is closed). You have to head toward the hotel Valet and then go two lights and you will see the Employee Gas station. TURN RIGHT AT THE SECOND light. The gas station will be on your right and the RV/truck lot is just beyond that. You MUST get a security pass from security or you can not stay. They will need you registration and drivers license to issue you a free permit. The shuttle no longer runs from this lot so the security guy said to unhook and drive the truck over to the casino. You will have to circle around the casino to find garage or valet parking. No charge just a few bucks tip to the valet. The lot is fairly level and lighted.

For Mohegan Sun Casino: Busy, parking lot, with city bus traffic. No shuttle to casino. Permit require. Upper RV parking lot no longer available and told it will not reopen and shuttle service will not resume.

For Mohegan Sun Casino: Nice large parking lot for RV's, must check in with security. We lucked out with a great view of the river. Would stay here again if in the area.

For Mohegan Sun Casino: Missed RV parking (no sign--just saw parking lot full of RV's and thought, perhaps, this is where I was supposed to park. So, drove all around the casino to get back to the RV section and couldn't find it. So stop and look casino convenience store/gas station and ask them where the armies were supposed to park and how to get there? Cashier told me to go to the next light and make a U-turn at the light and then I would see the entrance. So, I made the U-turn and passed it up the second time. A word of advice turn at the light do not make a U-turn because there is not a second entrance want to see the RV parking lot it is actually before you see the RV parking lot. Once I finally found it, I parked (lots of RV's). Forgot to call for a permit, so police or security stopped and had to give her my drivers license, etc and she gave me a permit. She was very friendly. However, the place was off my normal route, and so far from casino that I didn't even go to casino. They had a shuttle, but it was cold and dark, and didn't really feel safe waiting for shuttle by myself late at night, so just stayed in rig. But was grateful being able to stay there. Connecticut is not RV friendly compared to other states. I called several Walmarts, Costco, and Sam's and all denied me permission to park overnight, and all beach state parks were all closed for the season so at least Casino allows RV's to stay.

Debbi
For Mohegan Sun Casino: We stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend. We had a view of the river, shuttle bus about every 15 minutes, peace and quiet (yes on the holiday!) and security was very polite and conscientious.
All of this and one of the largest and cleanest casinos we have ever stayed at. This is a class act establishment and there was tons of variety for entertainment and food. What's not to love?

For Mohegan Sun Casino: Our favorite casino stopover! RV lot is separate from truck and bus parking. Large, well-lit and safe, though largely unlevel. Must register with casino security, who will come around to the lot and issue a permit. Shuttles run fairly often to casino, which is a long walk. Many excellent restaurants! Some shopping.
