For Wolfs Den Family Campground: Making reservations over the phone was easy and the lady was nice. What we were not told was if you leave early, there are NO REFUNDS as you pay for your entire stay up front. There are NO sewers at any of the sites. With that being said usually there are free bathhouses to use, not here. Showers are $.25 for five minutes. Two showers are available in separate rooms at the red barn which is the game room ( all games cost$). We have a 40’ travel trailer that’s 12’ tall. As previously stated there is a very very tight entry/exit way. I would hate to see two squeeze by each other because they will probably get damaged. The roads are not made for vehicles to pass especially campers, someone will be backing up if the park is full of campers. The park is mostly full of long term and seasonal campers, I waved but just got a few glares. The out door staff wasn’t as personable as the front desk ladies either. Sites do not have any gravel, just grass. There are some with concrete pads that look like they are for smaller campers like pop ups, but didn’t look level walking by. Reminds me more of staying at a fair grounds. The play ground is nice and fenced in so though it’s near the road in and out, they (kids)can’t easily run into traffic. There is a $10 refundable charge for an electronic gate key that has to be paid in cash upon arrival. There is a sign near the office where wood is sold that says:†A bundle of firewood is $6 per or two for $12 or three for $18â€.

For Wolfs Den Family Campground: Quite place. Friendly people and staff. Only complaint. The roads are tight on the bends and the only one SHARED entrance & Exit make leaving with trailer as another is coming in very difficult as there is not enough room for both of you on the same road one of you HAS TO BACK OUT OF THE OTHERS WAY.

For Wolfs Den Family Campground: Very pretty campground, again, though as has been our experience in traveling the east coast, many of the RV's here are set up permanently, with decks and sun rooms built on. These people obviously rent the sites by the season.
The campground is a bit tight to navigate with our 42 foot 5th wheel, not a lot of room to move and make turns. No septic hookups but we do have cable TV here and internet. Everyone is very nice, from the people running the campground to the other campers.....I give this campground a 4 only because of the difficulty we had navigating the turns in the park, and the unlevel site.
