For Hecla Junction - Arkansas Headwaters SRA: You pull in as about of state visitor and the dispersed camping has holes big enough to swallow a car. So you go down to the state park only to find out you need a special pass that is not sold there AND a reservation! What the heck?
Two charges for one site and no water either.
Why would anyone buy a yearly pass in September?
This system makes no sense to me.

For Hecla Junction - Arkansas Headwaters SRA: Lovely location but no water. Must bring your own or drive to Salida or Buena Vista 10 miles each way.

For Hecla Junction - Arkansas Headwaters SRA: Wonderful little campground with beautiful scenery. Level sides, clean pit toilets, right next to the river. $25 per night with a seven dollar daily access fee is a little pricey. Verizon service was spotty, but quite strong with a Weboost.
