For Uncompahgre River RV Park: We really enjoyed our month long stay at Uncompahgre River RV Park! Mark and Michelle went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They are friendly, hardworking, and very informative. And somehow they still find the time and energy to organize social events several times a week. They also coordinate potlucks throughout the summer. Count yourself fortunate if you attend one of them where Mark offers up his excellent smoked brisket! The park is very quiet and peaceful. The Uncompahgre River runs right next to the park. There are benches built on the bank where you can relax and watch the river flow by. We really appreciated the individual showers/bathrooms. The only negatives for us were: The cottonwood trees shed their seeds and cotton for about two weeks in May so we ended up dragging those into our RV during that time. And not all sites are satellite TV friendly. When we were making reservations we mentioned our desire to use our own dish. Mark and Michelle made sure we had a site that met our needs. The park does offer free cable TV with 25 useful channels. The free WIFI signal was strong, stable, and fast enough for our needs. Olathe itself is a quiet, agricultural town. Not much going on here. However, the town is located close to Montrose and Delta where there are quite a few shopping/dining options. And Grand Junction is only about an hour away. The town, parks, trails, and reservoir at Ridgeway and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison are nearby as well. We would definitely stay here again!

For Uncompahgre River RV Park: READ CAREFULLY Any reviews prior to January 2017 should not be taken into consideration. (My Opinion)Property is now owned by Mark and Michelle as stated on Yelp under the name of Bud Hillier Enterprises/Montrose county records. A extremely scary situation lead to having a background check on owner done (NOT GOOD) Extremely easy and affordable to do background check-For Your Safety! Pull up satellite photos for surrounding area/this property is not secure. Had to make multiple calls to local law enforcement and even 911- This is not a safe property-DO YOUR RESEARCH (MY OPINION)

For Uncompahgre River RV Park: As a 55+ RV park, there are no playgrounds, but plenty of dog walks. Huge cottonwood trees, immaculate grounds, large, angled, level sites, all FHUs, good WiFi, but curiously no picnic tables or fire pits. Laundry, individual showers, community room. Owners friendly and helpful. We washed our rig, but then overnight sprinklers left spots. Easy access to Black Canyon, Montrose, Ridgway, Ouray.

For Uncompahgre River RV Park: Wonderful campground! Owners are super nice. Sites are spacious & paved. Bathrooms immaculate. Huge cottonwood trees surround the campsites. Close to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP. Definitely recommend this place.

For Uncompahgre River RV Park: This is the best park we have ever stayed in. We were originally only booked for 4 days and we stayed 2 weeks. This park is very quiet and no road noise. Wi-fi worked great. The owners Mark and Michelle are such sweet people. There are lots of tall trees for shade and every site has a concrete pad and patio. The roads are asphalt. We have a 43' fifth-wheel. Some friends of ours tried to get in but they were booked but they stopped by twice in a week because they also enjoyed this rv park. Well definitely be staying here again when we are in the area.

For Uncompahgre River RV Park: I found this place delightful. Quiet, clean, beautifully landscaped with lots of flowers. Concrete pads and patios. Restrooms and showers spotless and private. Well shaded spaces with convenient hookups. This place is really beautiful. No pool but that is not an issue with me. I could stay here forever and be happy.

For Uncompahgre River RV Park: You won't be disappointed! This is a wonderful, off the main drag, RV resort. VERY quiet. No road noise or trains. Charming landscaping, well landscaped grounds and very nice people. The reviews below are all correct except the one that said the slots were cramped. Nice lawn space between camps.
