For Pikes Peak RV Park and Campgrounds: Go to sleep listening to a mountain stream. Cross the street to downtown Manitou Springs. Walk your dogs in the City Park next door or let them enjoy on of two dog parks. Level gravel spots with picnic tables. Outstanding staff to help you back into the slots—mostly backin. Clean showers and laundry and a swimming pool at the Ciry Park you can use for free. Huge shade trees. Welcome to Colorado.

For Pikes Peak RV Park and Campgrounds: Don’t stay here. Too much $$$&. Sites very small. Not a good place. Read other honest reviews. Never again

For Pikes Peak RV Park and Campgrounds: Stayed for 2 nights in June and enjoyed our time. Had 2 bars Verizon LTE and their WIFI allowed me to work from there during the day. We biked to Garden of the Gods from the campground and they offer free access to the Rec Center with a lap pool. It’s a basic campground but was perfect for what we were looking for to stay in Manitou springs. Clean, good bathrooms and showers, level gravel sites. FHU. Would stay here again.

For Pikes Peak RV Park and Campgrounds: Just stay here. Cost about $80/night for full hookup. Beautiful min rain stream. Fairly level parking for my Class B. GREAT MANAGEMENT lives on site. No fire pits or bbq were at the sites. Stayed 2 nights and wouldn’t look around before staying again. Loved it!

Fredric

For Pikes Peak RV Park and Campgrounds: We stayed here for 4 nights in a 25 ft motor home and we’re satisfied with all aspects of the stay. I rated it 4 instead of 5 because of things the owners can’t really control (next to a busy, noisy street; spaces close together; a bit “parking lot-ish”). Reservations and check in were seamless; the staff were very friendly and accommodating; the spaces were level; all hookups worked well; the bath and shower facilities were clean; the washers were modern and reasonably priced; there is in-park access to the bike trail system and to a nice park next door; the facility felt safe and secure; there was adequate overflow parking for vehicles; it is close to dining and shopping. I was impressed by the fact that the criticisms about the shower facility and the water pressure from the 2021 review (below) had been addressed and rectified. Yes, it’s expensive, but it is what I would expect for an area like this. I would certainly stay here again!

Disco

For Pikes Peak RV Park and Campgrounds: It is crowded and overpriced. We paid $94 a night which is double what I paid 2 years ago. The water pressure was horrible. We could not take a shower in the rig and the toilet would barely flush. The water pressure in the park showers and washing machines is good. Since it is not possible to shower in your rig it seems like they would pay extra attention to the upkeep of the public showers. There were 3 of them but only 2 with curtains. There are no hooks for a towel and no place to lay your clothes or put the soap except on the floor. I took our camp chair into the shower so I’d have a place to put my clothes and towel. Really hard to understand. I think the ownership may have changed since I was last here. Some things have been upgraded like new signs and fencing and a snack machine in the laundry room. I think a hook in the shower might have been a better use of money. Dog park is not much but there is a park next door that’s nice but maybe a little sketchy at night. On the upside, the employees are very nice and accommodating, especially Sara. If they can attend to some of the more basic amenities and maybe lower the price just a little I might have given it 4 stars. There aren’t really any nicer parks in this area so they kind of have you. I know there are a ton of new people out in RVs due to the pandemic so I guess parks think they can charge more. Never have I ever paid more than $65 and that was for a luxury site with amazing amenities, this is not that although it is nicer than most in the area. I’m not sure I can afford to come back here.

Bryan

For Pikes Peak RV Park and Campgrounds: Friendly staff. Driver’s side electric plug ins on even sites only. Very cramped quarters. Gravel parking with no grass. Limited to no shade.
