For River Dance RV Resort: Stopped for one night in early March. Nice park and amenities. River very close by. The only negative was the amount of dog poop on path to the river.

For River Dance RV Resort: The main highway was closed due a mudslide therefore we could not get home. The host was very helpful in finding us a site for the night.. The campground was quite , gravel sites, water, electricity and a dump station. We did not use other amenities but the campground was clean. Also, a river flows behind the campground. We would definitely stay here again.

For River Dance RV Resort: I gave this four stars because we drove through the other choice in Glenwood Springs and this one is that much better. As I was told when the water pressure dropped to zero, this ain’t the city. It is on country road, a good road, with open grass areas going down towards the river. The water pressure is up and down as people use but it is always flowing. It is a quiet park with a little noise from the highway but not bad. Level roads and level sites. Fire pits, clean rest rooms and showers. Patio area with table and chairs.

For River Dance RV Resort: We stayed here in the winter and skied at Beaver Creek. While our site only had water and electric, both worked great given the cold temps!
Bob and Paul who run the camp are incredibly helpful and go out of their way to help people.
Bathrooms and showers were very clean. There is a dump station on the campground.
We would highly recommend this campground and will be returning!

For River Dance RV Resort: This may be the only actual RV camp ground until you get to the Silverthorn area but I would skip it. It is filled with half residents and half part timers. Not a very nice camp ground. Feels and looks dumpy. I didn’t actually stay as they said they were booked up for the entire summer but could see plenty of empty spots. Was looking to dump and they wanted $20 cash to do so! I said no thanks. Found a dump in Edwards that was free. Save yourself some money and boondock in near by state land. Much nicer anyways.

For River Dance RV Resort: UPDATE: had a long talk with one of the owners. They bought it years 4 ago and have plans to update the park and add sites. The semi-permanent sites will be separated from the RV sites. They own 1.8 miles or river and highway frontage. When they get done it will be a great place. However, they have been hung up in permitting on simple things like digging to add sewers to sites as well as the bigger things like adding buildings or sites.

For River Dance RV Resort: This is my third stay here. The pros are:
1. When coming east on I70 this is the last full service campground until Denver.
2. The Eagle River adjoins the property.
3. Lovely grass area of over an acre between last sites and the river. Great for pets. Please pick up after.
4. Can fish on river if you like.
5. Eagle River Trail goes past property. It is paved. Duck Ponds Natural Area and boat launch is about a mile down the trail or frontage road.
6. It has everything it is supposed to have.
Cons:
1. Highway noise when outside.
2. Some of the facilities are a bit "tired" but usable.
3. Lots of long term stays - they are reasonably tidy.
4. Very informal system.
Traffic note: I go west on I70 on Sunday often. The eastbound traffic begins to back up between Dillion and the Eisenhower Tunnel. Stop and go for miles.
