For Tall Texan Campground: Camping like it used to be! Beautiful park in a natural setting, close to town and local outdoor attractions (fishing, boating, off-road, scenery). We are here during Memorial Day, and the park is pretty full, but don’t feel over crowded at all! Staff is very attentive and answer questions patiently to help us get the most out of our stay. NEW ADDITION!…Conestoga “Glamping” wagons! Would love to stay there!

For Tall Texan Campground: Pretty, shaded park. Facilities are clean and well-maintained. Management is friendly and picks up trash at your site throughout the day. We will come back!

For Tall Texan Campground: We've stayed at this park 3-4 times in the past 6 years. Prices are reasonable. Sites are tight and there are lots of shady sites. They now charge a fee for CC payment which is probably a bad move for them as in is irritating to their customers. It's the best park we have found for visiting Crested Butte which is about a 30 minute drive. We travel in a 40' A-class pulling a jeep. They only have a few pull-thru sites. We will stay again when we are in the Gunnison area.

For Tall Texan Campground: Wonderful place to stay!!! Great cheap price too. What a wonderful owner!!! We could not of been more pleased with the service we received from the Tall Texan owner Bob! Bob, Thank you so much for taking care of us in grand style! God bless you! We wish we could had stayed longer then the one night. We had a peaceful warm nights rest and great bathroom with hot clean shower!! We are so grateful we stopped to see if they had room for us. Over the top accommodation for my daughter and I. You won’t be sorry you stayed.

For Tall Texan Campground: Once again we have arrived at an RV Park that advertising says they have amenities they don’t have. Not only does this park not have cable tv it also has no antenna tv either. Not sure where the break down is, with camp allstays or the parks. The sites are tight. There are many permanent RV ‘s. It looks a little like a run down trailer park. Wouldn’t stay here again.

For Tall Texan Campground: Very expensive but such a friendly group and so convenient that I found it worth it 2 summers in a row. Laundry good clubhouse/ office has better wifi than at individual sites. A handy bike trail the 1.5 miles into town
