For Elk Creek Campground and RV Park: Nice place with well separated sites on a hillside. We stayed here two nights and were treated with moose visits both nights as they browsed the willows. New owners affiliated with KOA and are nicely rebuilding sites as time and money allow. Process includes leveling and new gravel along with sewer hookups. Dumping is easy as owners have fixed in place hose with bayonet connections that fit any RV. My only complaint is the ever present fire rings. My wife has asthma and a nearby campfire can set off an attack. Besides this the park is built in a forest and looks out on the recently burned area of Rocky Mt. NP. There is a messaging problem here that could easily be solved with rentable propane fire rings.

For Elk Creek Campground and RV Park: This campground is now a KOA, and an excellent one. Many of the sites are surrounded by greenery. They are leveling sites and adding hook-ups. The clubhouse has wonderful, clean bathhouse, showers with heat lamp to warm up cool times, a nice laundry and camp store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about things to do in the area. It is about 5 miles outside of the west side of Rocky National, a huge plus, and about the same distance from the charming little town of Grand Lake and a great golf course. Excellent place to stay.

For Elk Creek Campground and RV Park: The best KOA we have stayed at. We stayed for 8 nights starting on 7/27/23. The staff are very hard-working and keep the place absolutely beautiful. Brad and Terry, the managers, run the place wonderfully! The laundry, bath-house, TV room and grounds are immaculate. In addition, they offer a free, “honey wagon” tank dump, if guest is not at a full hook up site and staying over six days. At the dump station, they have their own hose, so that guests don’t have to use their own. Very convenient! In addition, it’s perfectly located so close to the town of Grand Lake and the western entrance to the RMNP! Congratulations to the new Grand Lake KOA.

For Elk Creek Campground and RV Park: Stayed for three night and can I see and reach out and touch your neighbor. Also site behind was getting renovated and all I herd for two days was chain saws, tamdens and backhoes. I have been to rMNp 3 times and would recommend anywhere else

For Elk Creek Campground and RV Park: What a great place. Right at the entrance to RMNP. Clean facilities with tent, RV sites and cabins available. The staff went way out of their way for us. We had a trailer part sent from Amazon to the campground which didn’t arrive on time. They coordinated with the post office and got it to us. Wow!
