For Green River Campground - Dinosaur National Monument: Not many views of the river. Not private. One short trail, not for biking. No swimming. Lots of generators running. I would not consider this a camping experience. Convenient though, if you are just there to see the fossil sites.

For Green River Campground - Dinosaur National Monument: I was here in early May 2022 and, surprisingly, the campground was pretty much full. It's very pleasant with paved level park sites and no hookups. The riverfront sites are not much better than the non-river sites because you can't actually see the river through the vegetation. The surrounding terrain is beautiful layered colorful rocky cliffs to the north and rolling green hills to the east. Campers were respectful and quiet. I stayed two nights and enjoyed the park walks at the end of the road on the Utah side of the park where this campground is. To see the other Colorado side of the park is a major drive of about 90 miles round trip. Some campers disappeared during the day to do that but I found plenty of things to do on the Utah side for my two days. (No camping options on the Colorado side.)

For Green River Campground - Dinosaur National Monument: Nice primative campground. Showers and no dumpsite. Sites 80 and 82 are right on the water. Site 80 has a nice view of the water. It’s pretty hot and sunny but those sites have good shade also.

For Green River Campground - Dinosaur National Monument: Loops A and C are first come first serve and the B loop is reservable online. Honestly, loops A and C are just as good and both have nice pull thru as well as nice back in sites. We stayed here in our 37 foot class A, not towing. There are many sites right along the river and you are about 30 yards from it. The cost is only $18. Pit toilets and water fountains, aside from that you’re on your own. Quiet campground. We swam and fished in the river and didn’t see another person out there. The view of the mountains across the river is beautiful.

For Green River Campground - Dinosaur National Monument: We were quite happy to find camping here for our 27' Airstream. Nice camping and very quiet. Wish we had fewer clouds to see what must be a great star and planet display. We recommend this place. Be sure to visit the visitor center quarry building to see hundreds of dinosaur bones in situ.

For Green River Campground - Dinosaur National Monument: Stayed here in a 24 foot trailer on an August, Sunday. Nice campground, under mature cottonwoods, on the Green River. Not much of a view until you walk about 50 yards to the river. It was starry and quiet at night, we could hear the river! Bathrooms were clean. Don't miss the dinosaur exhibit hall! Absolutely awesome! No reconstructions, just the actual site where many skeletons you've seen all over the US, came from, as they were found, in situ!
