Traveling Tutu
For RJourney Cortez Mesa Verde: We came for one day and stayed for a week. The dog park is huge, and trails lead to a small lake. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the facilities are clean. We loved the panoramic view of two mountain ranges. I had my morning coffee sitting in bed looking out the window at the Ute mountain range. The RV Park is close to downtown Cortez, but it is very quiet. I definitely recommend staying here during your visit to Mesa Verde and the other numerous Native American cultural sites.

For RJourney Cortez Mesa Verde: Top notch campground. Beautiful setting, quiet, clean, super staff and the bonus is the lake path for walking. We will come back and stay longer next year!

For RJourney Cortez Mesa Verde: This KOA in Cortez, Colorado is the worst place EVER!!!!! I caught the manager/owner trying to look at my wife while she was taking a shower in one of the shower stalls towards closing. She was taking a quick shower, and he purposely walked in (knowing she was in there) trying to get a peak at her. I know this because I was standing nearby, and he saw me, then asked me if anyone was in the shower stalls?? I told him, yes my wife is there, but will be out quickly. He said ok. I walked over to our car shortly after, and I heard my wife scream! I ran back, and caught him coming out. He said he forgot she was in there, after I just told him she was in there...BUSTED!! She saw him looking at her, but he was acting like he was checking the restroom area, then ran out... What a pervert!!! We will NEVER stay here EVER again!!!
DO NOT STAY AT THIS KOA WITH A PERVERT MANAGING THE PLACE, FULL OF EXCUSES!!

For RJourney Cortez Mesa Verde: Very nice Park. There appears to be a lot of updating/upgrading going on. Level sites, over the air Tv was good. Nice walk around the little lake. Very convenient to Masa Verde NP and several other locations within easy reach. Stayed in a 34 ft Class A towing a Silverado.

For RJourney Cortez Mesa Verde: Definitely the place to stay if you have a large RV (we have 40ft + tow) which was easy access. awesome views and nice walking trail around small lake that's dog friendly. Dog park is not convenient but has nice mulch walkway easy on pups paws. Really nice staff.

For RJourney Cortez Mesa Verde: Nice KOA
Unfortunately they parked us out in the future lots so it was more like a level rock parking lot. Very close to our neighbors! Trees behind us but not around.
There were some nice looking lots we just didn't make the upgrade
Everything else was typical KOA

For RJourney Cortez Mesa Verde: Stayed in One of their cabins on the last night of their season. The cabin was well-kept, and very clean. It also had a flat screen TV, which surprised me. The grounds were OK, but not as nice as other KOA's that I stayed in. The manager at the KOA was very well coming and nice.
