For Lone Duck Campground: Lone Duck Or Odd Duck? If you get one of the very few good sites you will like the place. Had site 47. A good one. Many sites are small and helter shelter. Friendly office staff. Great base for visiting Pikes Peak

For Lone Duck Campground: Nice enough place Nice people running it Facilities clean BUT, don’t ever rent a cabin if its the least bit warm. No Fan. No A/C

Aaron H

For Lone Duck Campground: We stayed 2 nights, and we really loved this campground. The staff was fantastic. The only reason(s) for not giving 5 stars is the noise from the road. It is also looks pretty tough to get in to several of the spots (our was not one of the difficult ones thankfully). Otherwise, the pool is very nice, we caught several rainbow trout from the pond, and cooked them for dinner, and they have an awesome arcade that’s open all night. The campground is in a low spot in the valley, so it was much less windy than otherwise would have been, so we could leave the awning out. Prices are high to stay, but you get your money’s worth, especially if you have kids with you. Wifi signal was very good at Lone Duck…best at any campsite we’ve been to.

Hank

For Lone Duck Campground: Stayed two nights - very small RV Park. Not really pet friendly as there is no place to walk a dog. Tight spaces. Very loud road noise.

For Lone Duck Campground: Great place, friendly staff and very clean. They served a pancake breakfast for $5.00 that was very good.

Dutch Man

For Lone Duck Campground: Pros:

Nice pool, playground, stream beside camp spots, pond with fence to protect the kiddos from falling in. Camp staff was not particularly welcoming when checking in but that's no big deal.

Cons:

The noise... it's situated beside the road and you hear significant road noise. If I was in a tent or a pop up it would be pretty tough to sleep.

Pajunk

For Lone Duck Campground: There is nothing wrong at all but road too close. If you have tent and looking for quiet place you have to maybe look somewhere else. But other way this place is nice and clean and has beautiful view.
