For Junction West Vallecito Resort: We stayed here 3 seasons, and last summer was bad. Our electrical post was broken when we arrived (3 weeks after the season opened), and the manager ran a 30 amp cord to our site since we didn’t take up her offer to move. She accused me twice of not notifying them of our arrival date, which wasn’t true. I had called 2 weeks earlier to pay for the season, and then the day before to amend our arrival date up by one day. She told me if they “knew we were coming, we would have rocked your site”. I told her to deliver it and I would rake it, but it never arrived after 4 months. The day we left, they applied more rock, according to our neighbor. We were told 50 amp electrical would arrive the next week, but it was 6 weeks until a former maintenance guy came to stay for a month and had it fixed in 10 minutes. A bare electric line ran from the post to a building across our neighbors site for several weeks, and when the neighbor voiced concerns, the manager began hassling them that they would have to move their storage shed to bury the line. It was buried after another 3 weeks and they didn’t have to move the shed. The manager was very difficult to deal with, abusive to the campers to the extent that we were afraid to even speak with her or wave to her as she sped by on a golf cart. I personally heard her call vendors “morons” and yell at other campers with a bullhorn. The place is falling apart with water main leaks every week, and mud puddles on the roads. We will never return .

For Junction West Vallecito Resort: We had made reservations for this campground in late 2020. I was told I would receive the Good Sam discount. When we arrived we were informed that the campground had been sold and that they no longer gave the Good Sam discount or any other discount. However, they still had the Good Sam placard displayed. There was no cell coverage, wifi was at the office only and very rare. Mostly returning snowbirds here. The laundry facility was adequate, the sites are gravel and dirt. The numerous golf carts running through the campground was annoying and dust creating. Probably would not stay here again.

For Junction West Vallecito Resort: We have stayed all over this great country and I must report that this is a wonderful setting. If you do not want any cell service, tv service or Wi-Fi at your site then this is perfect for you. Our issue is that I work from the RV and had inquired before we made reservations and was told that they had “spotty” reception. We have a very good booster so I thought we would try. That spotty service is non existent. You must drive at least 3 miles before you can get a signal. The second issue is that I regularly have packages delivered from my office and I would be notified upon delivery. I would go to the office to pick up the package and they would say it had not delivered. That was a blatant lie. I found out that they like time to sort the packages before you pick them up and that would be fine if they would just inform you and not lie to you. We will never recommended someone stay at a location where the owners are not truthful with their customers. We are full time in the RV and have been for almost 6 years and this is not the worst park we have stayed in but it is one of the first that has been dishonest.

For Junction West Vallecito Resort: This is a beautiful setting with pines and everything that goes with the forest. Lots of things to do near here. We used Passport America discount full hookup sites for $24.00. We were here a few years ago and came back. We have a friend in the area that we visit. Wish we could stay longer and take advantage of the activities this park offers, plus the surrounding area. The sites are level with mature pines, and a nice picnic table. They have cable with about 10 channels, WiFi and celluar are hit and miss. We have Verizon. They have movies (DVDs) on loan in the office which is a nice feature. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
