For Difficult Campground: Totally unplugged camping. Fresh water tank fill up is available but there is no dump station. Sites are very secluded. Only 8 miles from Aspen. Bike path from CG to Aspen. Stayed in a 25ft travel trailer and fit easily. CG fills every night so I suggest reservations. Host is friendly and helpful.

For Difficult Campground: Lots of privacy and shade from the Aspens. We stayed at site 27 with a 26ft travel trailer, 31ft overall. This had a narrow 90 degree turn to back into the 50ft campsite. It was difficult but manageable. We scraped or leveling jacks because of a large bump from the stream running under the entrance. Or camper doesn't have the largest of clearance on it. Loved the location to Aspen and Independence Pass. Bathrooms very clean. Water was available but didn't need any. I would stay again for sure but my might try a different site that was easier to back into. Site 27 still had lots of privacy and you couldn't see your neighbors.
