For Shady Oasis: The bathrooms are filthy filthy filthy. Would not shower here. Came in at night. Sites Looked okay but checked out washrooms and yikes a health hazard!
Management could easily clean it up and it would be nice as the area was nice. I would not stay here again based on the washrooms.

For Shady Oasis: Wow. One of the worst places we have ever stayed and we have stayed at some dives. This place is in complete ruin. Only one of three toilets worked and I didn’t want to think about using it. Broken windows, tiles falling off, massive amounts of call trying to hold everything together and failing. Rust everywhere and half of the lights worked. The sites are uneven and that doesn’t describe the warping. I will never stay here again.

For Shady Oasis: This park is right by the side of the highway and a train track is very near. So if that kind of noise bothers you don't come here. Other than that it has big pull through sites. It is $35. It is good for stop over one night. It has big shade trees and a swimming pool which is plus is a plus in the summertime heat. We came in late September after hours, with no reservation, the check-in was sort of confusing but it was mostly just go pick up spot and pay, which was fine with us.

For Shady Oasis: This is a former KOA which seems to have fallen into hands that cannot afford to maintain it. It is a very tired. That said, we were so thrilled with the large shade trees, that we were fine with it. Check-in staff were very friendly. The sites are in their original level shape, & with full hookups, we had all we needed. Wifi speed waxed & waned. We swam in the pool, which isn't heated, thankfully. At 96 ' we needed to bring our core temp down! The adjacent highway is very loud, & there's train noise, which may turn some off. We were comfortable here for 2 nights as we needed to stay over for car repairs. In short, this is not a vacation destination, but it is an adequate overnighter.
