For Emma Wood State Beach: This place is very primitive and you have to plan for total dry camping. The spots are very tight. Don't fall for the "pull through" spot description. This just means they run parallel to the road and water and you are RIGHT against the sea wall in some spots. It is a neat atmosphere and we will venture back this year for a second try at a better spot. LOCK up your stuff as Ventura has a transient population that comes by in full force. Also some gangmembers cross the tracks mid park to walk around. There are Rangers so if you see something report it. 34 Foot Class A

For Emma Wood State Beach: Nice place by the sea.
BUT: 40 Dollars for nothing! No water, no elec., not even a dumpstation!!
A crowdy road beside the place and a train for no sleep at night.
never again!
