For Pechanga RV Resort: Pechanga RV Resort and Casino: May 30-June 2, 2023
It was less than an hour drive to the resort, yet we felt as if we were in another world. The campground was not crowded and we had a lovely and convenient site, G19. It was close to the entrance and path to the casino, dog park, showers. The sites are concrete and level, with full hookups.
Each day we took a walk around the campground and it was interesting to talk with the other campers and view the numerous RVs. On the main road, across from the resort entrance, there is a paved path adjacent to the highway for walking. It is called Wolf Trail (or some such).
In the evening, after having chosen the restaurant from which to get our dinner and the food selection, we would walk to the casino. Arnold would sit with Scout at the entrance patio and I would go order and pick up the food. It was quite a show to observe the range of people going in and out of the casino. Also, there were overhead heaters, so it was quite comfortable while sitting to wait for our food. Here are the restaurants and food we had.
Pechanga Café: calamari, salmon, fish and chips
Blazing Noodles: Szechuan Lamb, Moo Shu Shrimp
Kelsey’s: Texas Style Brisket, Crab Salad Sandwich
We would walk back to the RV and warm the food in the microwave if needed and then pour our wine. It was such a treat to have dinner prepared each night. All I had to do after dinner was to gather up the remains and walk them to the trash bins. It was impressive that there were recycle bins located all over the campground.
Our conclusion is that Pechanga RV Resort is clean, has all the amenities one would need, is close to home, has a focus on recycling, and an overall very pleasant experience. We’ll go back.

RV Traveler
For Pechanga RV Resort: We stayed here for a few days in January. Let me start off with the best things about this RV park. It is clean and modern, spaces are somewhat close, but I have been in closer spots while traveling around the country. The bathrooms, laundry, casino, and restaurants we went into were clean as well. The steak at the Great Oak Steak House inside the casino was very good. Steak was cooked medium rare just like we ordered. We each had the Bone In Rid Eye steak which was $60 per steak. The menu items are a la carte so we each ordered a lobster bisque soup $15, a Caesar salad $12, creamed corn $10, and one Australian lobster each for $32 and we had tap water to drink. The total for our dinner with tip was $318. The service was very good and were waited on by the waiter and an assistant. We didn’t gamble, but the casino was packed with gamblers on a Friday and Saturday evening. Now for the annoying aspects of the park….We checked out the pool area and bath house for review. The bathrooms were spotless and modern, but to use the shower you have to keep pushing the handle (the kind you find at restrooms so the water shuts off quickly so it isn’t left on to flood the sink) so the water had to constantly be reset every few seconds while you’re taking a shower. Even though no repairs are allowed, our neighbor was working on this towed Jeep with his drills and other power tools. He was taking parts off and putting parts back on and did this most for most of the day. Another rule they have is about flags……I don’t personally care about this, but apparently Pechanga does because it’s in every email we received (and there are quite a few reminding you of your reservation, fill out this form, etc.) and there is always a disclaimer about flags. Here is a direct, copy and pasted warning from the email: “Pechanga RV Resort prohibits all flags, banners, or signs with the exception of the following: Standard American flag, Military flag (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, POW, MIA, and veterans). All other flags, banners, or variations of the approved flags that contain political messages, sponsorship messages, or any additional wording are strictly prohibited.†There were prohibited flags, banners and paper yard signs over the park. That’s fine, but if Pechanga is going to have rules about vehicle repairs, flags, banners and signs they should enforce it. The pool area was nice, but it was cold so no one was swimming. The hot tubs were lukewarm so those were not being used either. We didn’t use the laundry, but the facilities were neat, clean and modern. There was a laundry room next to check in and one at the pool. Verizon had 2 bars, the Pechanga wifi was basically useless with one dot and none the other times. Some site are more level than others so be aware of that. Some are very sloped and others are fairly level with just enough incline for water runoff. No sure that I would stay there again, but over all it was just an Okay visit.

Traveling
For Pechanga RV Resort: I have been here twice before with an excellent 5 star experience. This time around staying for a week Pechanga rented out the two sites next to me for a large all day party, and today the guy next to me has been washing his vehicles (2 trucks) and now his large class A older motor home all day long. This is ridiculous. If I wanted to sit outside today I would need to endure his unrelenting noise and water spray. Is there no monitoring of this type of behavior?

For Pechanga RV Resort: Wonderful RV Resort. Very clean, mostly quiet, very secure. Good usable WiFi, and AT&T and T-Mobile work well here. Don't have Verizon but I'm sure it would work as well. Can be an expensive park, but Passport America helps a lot!

For Pechanga RV Resort: We toured this RV park for a future cross country visit. It was recommended to us. We were not disappointed. Stopped in the Registration Office and given plenty of info. Many nice rigs, Grand Designs, Tiffins amount the guests. Beautiful sites and terrific scenery. We saw a Casino Bus which I understand is complementary transport. Good Sam and AAA 10% savings on the rates.

For Pechanga RV Resort: The park is pristine, full of high end rigs. We were parked so we could see the Cali hills. Not designed for kids but there were many rolling around on electric toy cars. This park was intended for adults and on a Friday night they were doing Black Sabbath karaoke until late. The staff was helpful and going out of their way to assist. We stayed in a “buddy†site that meant we shared a concrete pad with a trellis and two picnic tables.

For Pechanga RV Resort: First class. Paid $45 with a Sams card per night. Call the shuttle and it picks you up at your site for a ride to the casino (restrauants).
