For William Kent Campground: Have to dispute some of the previous reviews. The roads through the CG are in good shape and while not wide open plenty of room to maneuver unless you are towing your house or driving a Greyhound. In fact there were a number of fifth wheels and thirty plus foot diesel pushers there. Some of the site pads are shorter than others so be sure to check size when reserving. Clean restrooms with flush toilets. Beach is just across the street from entrance with a small mercantile nearby has food items, fresh bakery treats, and ice cream. A number of restaurants nearby. Tahoe has gotten a little busy for my taste but that’s no reflection an this nice campground.

For William Kent Campground: We stayed here in September. We have a 40 ft fifth wheel and haul it with a F350 crew cab. The weather was cooler than expected, 30's at night, 60's day but gorgeous all the same with snow on the mountains. You can run generators 6 am to 10 pm so that is very convenient for heating and charging batteries. Okay, that's it for pros. The road thru campground is narrow and broken up, trees and rocks are "everywhere", really too many since you have to maneuver around them on corners and backing into sites. There are only a few sites that accomadate our size rig and we picked accordingly. Site we picked was wide and deep, watch out for the massive tree you have to avoid backing in. Thank goodness no one was in site across the road, we used that to get more swing room. We are always leary about forest campgrounds because you never know their condition. I honestly don't think a large motor home would be able to get in here since they can't bend like a tow vehicle. There is conflicting length recommendations, one says 40 ft another I read said 57 ft. I wouldn't recommend either.

For William Kent Campground: They say that maximum length is 57'. I don't know who estimated, no way! The roads are extremely narrow, huge boulders line the roads, trees are very close. If you want to dent your travel trailer and tow vehicle go for it. Who ever designed this park should actually go rv'ing for once. Bring a good engineer and redo it.

For William Kent Campground: This is a rustic campground on a forested hill. The sites offer privacy and beauty. A walk down the hill takes you to a small beach, a nice restaurant and upscale deli/store. Close to all things resorty.
