For Campground by the Lake: We stayed in early June for 2 weeks. The campground is right off the main road into town, right across from the lake. So there is a lot of traffic noise if you want a nice view of the lake. The showers were hot and free, not the cleanest. It's a city park. Most of the RV sites in loop A and B are quite spacious. The Lakeview Commons are right across the street. This is a perfect little park to BBQ, they have lots of picnic tables and grills all along the lake. Lots of local kids doing slack line and having fun. We walked over for the sunset every night. Quintessential lake vibes at the Commons. This campground is centrally located, and we would stay here again.

For Campground by the Lake: Great campsite right across from the lake. There is a lot of traffic noise, the closer you are to the lake the noisier it gets, as the main road into town cuts right between the campground and the lake. The showers are nice a hot, good pressure and free. Lots of trees. The sites are good sized for California. Each RV site appears to have a picnic bench, fire ring and a BBQ.

For Campground by the Lake: We stayed here in a motorhome for two nights in June 2015. Our site had no hook-ups but we did have good internet service. The campsites were dusty but spacious. The lovely pine trees compensated for the lack of ground vegetation. Each site has a fire pit and place to barbecue. We were able to have a nice campfire. There do not seem to be clear boundary indicators for the different sites but it was not a problem. The bathrooms could have been cleaner and water pressure and temperature controls were not very good in some of the stalls. The location is very good for city lake and swimming access. There was a paddle board tournament while we were there which was a lot of fun. There were a number of park amenities (ice arena, library, etc.) which we did not check out.
