For Seabreeze at Seal Beach: I agree with all reviews about the strengths of this park. We have been coming here for 10 years and have had good stays until our most recent visit. The park has become infested with ants, terrible ants, in the coffee maker, shower, and everywhere else in our camper. Management is overall good, but is making no effort to control the ants. Only DE is allowed to be used outside the camper, due to the nearby wildlife preserve. If there were other options in the LA area, we would not stay here again.

For Seabreeze at Seal Beach: Beautiful, quiet, meticulously maintained park. We did NOT experience ant issues. Blue Herons nesting in trees near back of property and a sweet horned owl in trees near playground. Parking pads are level, wide, with a space for parking tow vehicle/bikes. We took our e-bikes to town. Mini Mart had basic needs & barber by appointment $15. We went to Whole Foods for a grocery run (1.7 mi). Dominoes Pizza (.7 mi out front gate). Washed our trailer in the free RV washing station - using the hose and sprayer provided. Office staff, gate guards, all very polite & friendly.

For Seabreeze at Seal Beach: Let me agree with all other reviews about strengths! Folks are amazing, ground crews are rocking, and the quiet and tranquil area is top notch! Only missing a commissary and exchange on post, yet I get it. Mini mart good for small needs, Air Force base close (by SoCal standards).
This goes to a clear and top rated 5 stars if not for the ants. Not a few, it is like every ant on the planet was terrorizing us all week. We did figure out the DE but it was too late to stop them.
The reason the ants impacted score so much is that we feel the exchange management could address if they wanted. DE is the most earth friendly thing for pest management on the planet. At a minimum let folks know when they check in to make sure they have it, put it down, and even sell it there.
We will return, with a large supply of DE, but we will be back in the spring and enjoy our month there. The people there have earned me coming back fully armed for the 1 real negative.

For Seabreeze at Seal Beach: Clean, well-organized and a quiet oasis. Staff super friendly. Stephanie was terrific! Laundry facility large and clean. Great location - close to beaches but far enough away to avoid the crowds. Fitness facility was excellent. Flat and wide pull thru and back-in pads made rig positioning a breeze. Hook-ups trouble -free. Flat and extensive walking path. Will be back!

For Seabreeze at Seal Beach: This park was absolutely FABULOUS! The cleanest & most well kept of any military campground we’ve ever stayed at, I say that in all sincerity. The park is beautiful & big rig friendly. The laundry room was clean & well kept, the washer and dryers are free to campers. There’s a commercial ice machine with free ice, as well as a free car wash. The staff were extremely friendly, as well as very accommodating. It’s just over a mile to Seal Beach’s actual beach, the pier was about 1.5 miles. I saw some complaints about price, I don’t think it was bad, especially given all the free amenities. CAUTION - BEWARE! When we arrived Gate 9, the one listed in the instructions, appeared to be open but was not. Put 800 Seal Beach Blvd in your navigation if this does happens. The address gets you to the Main Gate. If you do have to go this route, pay close attention to the roof of the Police building, there is a piece of metal that sticks out so you don’t want to be too close. I took several pix but don’t know if there’s a spot to upload them. I didn’t want to leave & would love to return.

For Seabreeze at Seal Beach: REALLY nice RV park. Likely one of the nicest and well kept military RV parks we’ve been to, and we’ve been to a LOT (full timers for 4 years now). VERY well maintained grounds and facilities. Laundry room is spotless and washer/dryers are free and actually work. Access is strictly controlled by gate guards and don’t be surprised if they walk through your RV to make sure there is no funny business going on or unauthorized visitors inside. There is a small shoppette near the park for essentials. No gas station on base, no fast food etc, but there is a gold course restaurant but we didn’t go. There is a 24 hour gate near the park but it’s pretty narrow. There is a daytime delivery gate on Kitts Ave but it’s a weekday, working hours only gate.
You can do up to 30 days, but have to leave for 30 before you come back. The problem with that is even if you stay 1 night, you still have to wait 30 days before you can return. It’s not like this place is jam-packed. This is an unnecessary policy for sure.
Staff was professional, frieldly and very helpful. To make reservations you are sent to a concierge operator. They too are helpful but sometimes it’s good to have contact with a front desk person.
I’d normally give this a 5 star rating but the water pressure, at least while we were there, was terrible. For the month we were there we had to use our water pump for showers and laundry.
