For Santa Margarita Lake: Even though the lake was low it is a beatiful area. Unfortunately the campground is pretty run down. The paved roads near the campsights on the osprey loop are mostly dirt now and dusty. No hookups No dump station. There is a dump station at the KOA down the road for $20. There is a marina and a store. I was here years ago and it was a nice boon docking campground, not so much now. Probably wont stay again. $37 dollars a night. Plenty of room for a 35ft rig.

For Santa Margarita Lake: Beautiful older campground. We stayed here a few days with friends who were camp hosting. No cell service, but the county provides free wifi. Playground is nice. Lake is still really low because they have to leave the dam open to feed the river. I heard they have good bass fishing (or will), but I didn't fish.
