For KOA Avila Pismo Beach: Beautiful, quiet, well maintained park. Current manager and his staff went over and above to ensure a pleasant stay. Park is near freeway so road noise is inevitable. We did not find it loud and we had no difficulty sleeping. The surrounding landscape helps to muffle the noise. Water pressure was great for showers. Pool and spa area were beautiful. Lots of fun things to do in the area. We will definitely be back!

For KOA Avila Pismo Beach: Complete rip-off. Loud because it’s next to the highway and one washer load costs $8 !!!!

For KOA Avila Pismo Beach: This was our 5th stay and the facility has degraded terribly since our last stay. Bathrooms were filthy and moldy. Staff was not friendly, especially the manager who was rude and surly. After he insulted my wife, I objected and he responded by ordering us to leave. He then called the police. We left this unfortunate example of a campground and went to a nearby KOA at Santa Margarita Lake, which was outstanding.

For KOA Avila Pismo Beach: Everything was great. Amenities for kids were great, facilities were clean. Location was great other than the road noise from the 101. Had no problem getting my 26 foot trailer on spot. The staff escorts and helps everyone get spotted anyway which is a big help. Would definitely stay here again.

For KOA Avila Pismo Beach: Beautiful location close to beach and towns with a nice bike/hike trail next to the campground. Campground is a little tight for our 32’ trailer. It would be a challenge maneuvering if the campground was busy. Very few large sites. Great pool, hot tub, OK WIFI and cable. Office has a wine tasting room for the busier times. A little pricey- definitely above average.
