For Premier RV Resorts-Redding: This park has been sold, and will become Boulder Creek RV Park. We stayed there Mid October on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday in our Tiffin 25’ Wayfarer and the spaces were more than long enough. The park was about 3/4 full. It was neat and clean, the staff was friendly, and the showers and bathroom were clean. There was a code for the bathroom/showers and there was also a swimming pool that was open, but we didn’t use it. Many years ago this RV park used to be a KOA, but you wouldn’t know it other than the A-frame looking main building. There are plenty of mature trees throughout the park, and we felt that there was ample space between the rigs. It was full hook ups. It’s within walking distance to several fast food and sit down restaurants… KFC, Starbucks, Subway and Bartel’s Giant Burger (we love the burgers and milkshakes at Bartel’s). A little bit farther, but walkable, is Raley’s grocery store, Round Table Pizza, Carl’s Jr., Little Caesars, Baskin Robbins Ice Cream, Popeye’s and, McDonalds. There is a lot to see in the Redding area such as the Turtle Bay Park where the Sun Dial Bridge is (it’s a pedestrian bridge with the floor made of glass) as well as the Sacramento River and many quaint, small towns nearby and terrific fishing where we normally limit out on trout each day we’re there each year.

For Premier RV Resorts-Redding: Really rude lady at the desk. Lots of people living there. Narrow road. No directional signs.
$65.00+ for a back in..
If you don’t like dealing with people, why are you the person “customers†are talking to. First impression mean a lot.
We would never do business with people like you, but we are in California . That seems to be the “norm†for most people here. We can’t get out of this state fast enough!!
We moved on down the road.

For Premier RV Resorts-Redding: Redding Premier RV Resort in Northern California off I-5 is a convenient place to pull over for the night or use as a home base to explore Lake Shasta and the mountain area. The resort has clean sites with paved pads to rest your RV upon. It has full hook-ups, and restrooms with showers. The WIFI is available but was very slow when we were there. I could not get the cable hookup to work but maybe my fault. There are low lit streetlights, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a newspaper waiting at our doorstep in the morning. The trees and grass offset the tight spaces providing a pleasant atmosphere in the resort. Despite the well-maintained landscape this is not a resort that offers or is juxtaposed to nature’s amenities. The town of Redding has lots of stores, though. Finally, we should mention that the overnight rate was much higher than normal.

The Caugers
For Premier RV Resorts-Redding: We were hesitant because of the less than stellar reviews but we found this campground very nice. The check in was easy and friendly. Our site was a very level concrete pad, long enough for our 40 footer and our toad. The orientation of the site had the hot (104) afternoon sun on the back of the coach, not directly on the side or front. We were in a more open area, but there were also sites in a more wooded area. We would definitely stay here again.

For Premier RV Resorts-Redding: Very nice, but very expensive. If their rates were adjusted to 5% above market I would give them 5 stars.

Mike
For Premier RV Resorts-Redding: Updated: Had to add another review to lower my rating to a 1. Told them at check in that I was blind (which I am!) and had to have a pet fence up and attached to my trailer because I can't see anything once I take my glass lenses out. They said no problem. 4 days into my stay, some jerk put a note on the trailer stating it was against policy that the fence touch the grass (which is dirt) and to remove it. About 10 inches of the fence on the grass at the entrance of the trailer. If your both handicapped and a pet owner, you have 2 strikes against you here!
Original: Nice CG. Quite during the week, gets a few more family's with kids on the weekends, but not an issue. Newer area is great for the big rigs, but not much shade. Older area has great trees for shade in the hot Redding summer, but makes it a little difficult for satellite dishes. Laundry rooms are small but very nice. Restrooms nice also. Walkable to Starbucks and Walgreens. 2 small dog parks and swimming pool. Would stay here again.

Mr RVer
For Premier RV Resorts-Redding: BEWARE!!!! Under NO circumstance would I recommend this park to ANYONE!!!
Multiple vehicles broke into and thousands of dollars stolen in electronics from campers. NO security at the park, cameras or otherwise. Blamed suspect on rough apartment complexes across the street. GUARD YOUR THINGS IF YOU STAY HERE!!!
Staff in park extremely disrespectful of campers property. Owner (Jim) not respectful or keeps his staff in line. Allows them to treat campers terrible!!!
Will NEVER stay at the park again!!! BEWARE!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!
