For Fairways RV Resort: Wow! I should have read more thoroughly the reviews. Girl behind the counter at checkin was rude and condescending. I will say that my site was paved and level and convenient to what I wanted to see in and around the area. Just a bad experience at check in. I told the young lady that she should be more considerate towards vets with disabilities, such as hearing loss.

For Fairways RV Resort: Sites are level. Quiet. Lots of empty spots. They were spraying for weeds when we pulled in - with green spray. $65. A night seems quite pricey for this site. RV park is situated between golf course, industrial buildings, and railway cars. There is a golf course grill out the back of the park - open 7-2.

For Fairways RV Resort: Finally no more dirts and weeds. Landscape rock now. Much better for pets. Big park but many sites hook ups don’t work. Mine the water pressure was too low to use. Laundry improved. Still a bad ant problem! Good spacing. Still $60 which is the most expensive Fam Camp yet. Base is nice big Exchange and commissary . Nice weather.

For Fairways RV Resort: Now $60 a night. Crazy for Fam camp. Also they don’t seem to put a penny back into park. Overrun with ants and weeds. Laundry Room has half or more of thd machines inop. Why do they keep raising the price bug not improving facilities. First time I went it was $35.

For Fairways RV Resort: Great stay, would stay longer. $50 a night for full hookups on a military base seems steep until one shops around for alternatives anywhere near a CA beach in July. Less than a 10 minute drive to swell beaches. Large, clean, and well-organized. Clientele quiet and respectful. I prefer this over Pt Mugu to the south which - though on the beach - is much more boisterous, unkempt and has a much punier spread of base amenities. Right next to the golf course with some, mostly muted, road noise. Recent expansion seems to be in the final phase. Flat, large, predictable pull-thrus. Wi-Fi is OK but expect regular drop offs. Free laundry with several machines inop but never had an issue finding an open set. Staff won’t win awards for customer service warmth but professional. Bring a mask to enter offices and facilities as the base leadership has yet to emerge from COVID hysteria. Weather sublime (70s) through out our stay. July/August ‘22.

For Fairways RV Resort: Very poorly managed rv park. Grass is all thorns, place is dirty, dog runs were filthy and run down. Ladies at check in were rude as if I interrupted there googling session on the computer. Not even a greeting as I came in and approached the counter. Do not waste your time with this fam camp. 55 dollars a night!! Where is the money going too? Certainly not to improving there facilities. Worst fam camp ever.

For Fairways RV Resort: Raised their prices but have done nothing to improve park since last visit. $45. Water pressure low. Ants Ants Ants. What was once grass is now between sites is Dirt and weeds full of stickers. Keep your pups off. No landscaping done. Excuse is drought. Yet a golf course is 100 yards away is nice and green. What is Navy doing with the money? Laundry 2 sites over has machine that sounds like it is going to explode. Limited rv parks in area so staying here is a must. Biggest draw is weather. 70 avg in late July.
Add on to earlier. 41 RV’s here which is avg for weekday and weekends was 80. At $45 a night this comes out to about $16500 a week $66000 a month and almost $800000 a year. Ok where is that money going. Not back into park that’s for sure.
