For San Francisco RV Resort: I wanted to add a more recent review. Everything mentioned in other reviews is still the same. Definitely not a resort and very few amenities. It’s so unfortunate, because even with the parking lot space situation, it could be so much more. They get a ridiculous high amount for each space, but they are clearly not using it to make this place nicer. Since they are really the only place close to San Francisco, they will continue to fill up so they don’t have much of an incentive to improve. Like most people here, we are only here to see the city. If you select a space, try to get one on the end do you have a little breathing room.

For San Francisco RV Resort: Tight ain’t the word! In an allegro bus and with 4 slides out I was over the line of my space. The neighbors were so close I felt they were bouncing around in my Motorhome. The last review is incredibly accurate … no real security. Foot traffic from the outside path way can come in. Homeless living in cars on the next street adjacent to park with open walkway into rv park. Did not feel safe even though we had no incident. Not in a great location. Have ocean view but even the view couldn’t make amends for this being AN EXTREMELY tight and expensive parking lot with old amenities.

For San Francisco RV Resort: Pretty low end park with a view, right on the ocean…very tight spaces, not well patrolled at night nor any noticeable security in the day time. Non paying campers came in and slept in their car at night (2 spaces down from us)... not a threat but could have been. This is basically a very large paved parking lot with hookups. It’s functional but not in a very good condition nor very good location (junk yard on one end, homeless sleeping in cars or old RVs on the street on the other. Open to anyone walking down the ocean side from either end of the park. However there was not any serious threatening foot traffic. We didn’t use the pool, spa or restrooms so no comment. Staff was friendly.

For San Francisco RV Resort: Face it, if you want to stay in your RV near a place like San Francisco, you have to expect a parking lot with utilities. We have a 43' Forest River with four slides and there were zero issues opening them up and moving about. I suspect those who are having problems don't really understand the best way to set up their rigs. Those of you familiar with Orlando: the parking is a lot like the side by side sites in the A section.
The water pressure is good, the electricity was constant, and the ocean view is spectacular. We have two dogs and had no problems walking them. There are dog walking areas with plenty of space for the pooches to do their business. Being so close to the city was amazing and having retail stores withing walking distance is always nice. Cell reception is great and there were plenty of over-the-air channels. The laundry is good and reasonably priced. The store/office is only open until 4pm which is a tad annoying, but you work with what you have.
Noise is an issue unless you're used to traffic noise. We lived up against the I-95/I-64 interchange for 15 years and have a well insulated rig so for us it wasn't a problem. Some will find it intolerable. No trains, but the airport has a flight path over the campground. However, the planes are a few thousand feet up so not a huge problem to us.
Warning as you travel: just a few miles south and AT&T has dead zones. Verizon is pretty consistently good through the whole area.
It's early December, so the weather is kind of lousy and the wind is blowing pretty hard, causing the rig to rock. Can't put out the awning unless we want to damage it. Glad we have the thermal package otherwise heating/condensation might be an issue. The area is amazing, and well worth the time even in bad weather.

For San Francisco RV Resort: Urban and expensive ($95).  A parking lot with spaces so narrow, barely room for slideouts and no room for awnings.  No picnic tables or anything at spaces.  Next to the freeway, and under the SFO airport takeoff path, so plenty of noise.  The ocean is out there somewhere, beyond the double chain-link fences and the eroding cliff edge, but on July 18th, invisible in the cold, fog and wind.  “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.†No WIFI in the parking lot, only in the laundry room.  Pool was not open when we were there.  Cover for services rusted in the salt air, but seem to work OK.  Not IN San Francisco, 13 miles south.  Stay here if there is no other choice in the area.

For San Francisco RV Resort: Beautiful scary and great location. The sites were a little tight, but manageable. Facilities were clean and the staff was very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here (Stayed in June 2017).

For San Francisco RV Resort: Website photos very misleading. Overpriced old, run down parking lot with very space between each site. And next to freeway with lots of freeway noise. Will not stay there again.
