For High Sierra RV Park: Let’s begin by saying not a lot of places to pick from in this area. My husband and I wanted a campground in between Yosemite and Kings Canyon NPS so picked this area. We had a pull through for our 27’ 5th wheel. If the campground would have been full it would have been hard to drive out of our site as you had to make an u-turn to get out. Person in office was very nice but told us trash cans were next to campsites but we never found one. Used the dumpsters on the road out of campsite for our trash. We are sell contained so never used the bathrooms.

For High Sierra RV Park: No complaints, but nothing to write home about. We needed an overnight stop on the way to Yosemite and this fit the bill. Sites are a little close together, but level. We got along great with the very friendly gopher that was digging holes near our picnic table.

For High Sierra RV Park: First - Lady in the office was very accommodating to us. We had planned a 2020 visit but with COVID we postponed. We travel in a 42ft with dolly tow - site was back in and close to trees and neighbors. We had adequate space and full hookup. Certainly not the best campground but not the worst. If we were traveling smaller, C, van or tent and you don’t mind the dust and heat of August.

For High Sierra RV Park: Matt - April 2021: I have to say our experience here was a "4". That's because staff gave us two sites for the price of one due to social distancing COVID concerns. But I gave it a "3" since each site was rather small, nearly awning to awning. However, the amenities (e.g. bathrooms, laundry, etc.) were fine and staff and RV folks very friendly. WiFi is $8 a week but reliable.

For High Sierra RV Park: Mobile home park up by the road, nightly RV rentals are down on the bank of the river. Surprisingly quiet at night despite being in town. River had a great swimming hole and when we went mid August so water was low enough for our big dogs to wade neck deep up and down the river to cool off. Pretty basic accommodation, but at 40 bucks a night with full hookups and cable just outside Yosemite, it’s worth it. Only cons: flies like you wouldn’t believe during the day by the river, and the heat. Even though it’s called “high Sierra†you’re in the foothills at 3000 feet. Expect whatever the weather is in Fresno to be similar here. Our first day it was 108. Also, if you’re not familiar with Yosemite, this is 15 min south of the wawona entrance. That means a 90 minute drive down to the Yosemite valley visitor center and 2.5hrs to Tuolumne meadows. It worked timing our toddlers naps to the drive, but gets tiring after a couple days.

For High Sierra RV Park: Great place! Some sites are not that nice but we got 39. Best site in the park. Right by the rapids. Close to the bathroom but not many people using it. Little getting in and out. We have 29’TT but we managed.

For High Sierra RV Park: Nice people at the office. Clean restrooms and laundry area. Lulled to sleep by creek waterfall. WiFi was weak. Nice place.
