You are aware of the Highway and distant train but didn’t bother us at all.
Nice pull through. But we stuck out a bit in our 41 ft 5th wheel. We didn’t unhook since leaving in the morning.
Would stay again

For Newberry Mountain RV Park: Great stopover for a onenighter. Easy access. A little close to the day, but what the heck. Love the ponds with the ducks and also has a swimming pool. Nice pull-throughs. Clean park. Would definitely stay again. Happy trails!

For Newberry Mountain RV Park: Great place to overnight crossing the desert. Friendly staff. Easy in/out sites. Clean and not full of trailers with blue tarps. Would stay again.

A nice desert park which means gravel all over ( better than dust and sand), a few trees along the western edge, 2 ponds, a nice pool. Very noisy with I40 and trains that run at night. 39$ less discounts.

For Newberry Mountain RV Park: We liked this campground. Management & facilities are very good. We go back & forth at times from coastal CA to AZ, and this is a really good overnight stop. Have stayed at nearby campground and this is better.

For Newberry Mountain RV Park: With all due respects to a previous reviewer, this RV park is in the middle of the desert in a small town of 2800 people on a frontage road to the freeway and does a very nice job of providing RV services.
The park is very clean well gravelled with no dust having two small lakes for clients, clean restrooms and showers, very nice small swimming pool that is kept immaculate.
The management was very friendly, helpful, and discuss the area with us working after their normal working hours.
The electric sewer water and cable services worked well. We would stay there again.

For Newberry Mountain RV Park: We chose this campground based on high ratings, big mistake. If it were not for the friendly and helpful staff I would rate it lower. Pros: the staff, even sites, partial beautification with pretty shrubs and pond. However the cons: unleashed dogs and poo everywhere. So close to I40 the road noise can be heard over my air conditioner. The only view is obscured by I40, rusted fencing and old buildings, etc. Overall, not the worse place I've been in the last 10 days, but know that it's not as wonderful as the other ratings would imply.
