For Hole in The Wall Campground - Mojave National Preserve: The road in from I40 (Essex Rd, Exit 100). is all paved and in very good condition. The twenty mile drive to campground from the highway took a half an hour. A good number of large sites, some pull through, mostly level. We stayed in early November 2023. We have a 39 ft motorhome towing a 4 dr Wrangler. Plenty of space and no issues getting in or out. They have potable water available though they ask to use it sparingly. There is also a dump station with rinse water available. Beautiful, beautiful surroundings. Hiking, birdwatching and off road trails available. Would stay here again. $6/night dry camping with Golden Age pass.

For Hole in The Wall Campground - Mojave National Preserve: Nice campground. Fairly level and well spaced sites. Hiking close. Dump station does not always have water available. Miss the rangers, their advice and miss having the visitor center open. Hope that changes. Just a caution-like many desert sites, wind can be an issue. Still it’s a great place to camp.

Tuna
For Hole in The Wall Campground - Mojave National Preserve: Stayed here many times through the years and it's always been very well kept and enjoyable. The campground is relatively flat and spread out so you're not too close to your neighbors. Paved roads most of the way with the last bit very well kept dirt road. Hiking trails close by and Mitchell Caverns (I think it's closed now) is always fun to do. Cheers!
