For Honey Lake RV Park: We called to make a reservation 3 days ahead of time. The recording said it was first come first serve every time we called. We arrived on Good Friday and completely set up our RV. We were unhooking our towed car when the lady owner walked up. She looked at me, a dark skinned Hispanic Vietnam Veteran, and then looked at my white skinned wife. She said you can’t camp in that spot as it is reserved. I said the recording said it was first come first served. She said it didn’t matter as it was reserved. I told her we had already paid at the self serve they have. She said leave and I’ll give you your money back. We felt she was acting racist so we just packed up and left. So if you are dark skinned don’t stop here. If I could give a minus rating I would.

For Honey Lake RV Park: Stayed overnight after trying to camp in Likely and learning they were closed for the season. Called and owner said he hasn’t turned anybody away in 30 years. Nice place, quiet and easy to check in after hours. Old park but everything worked fine. Bathroom and showers clean. Nice views to Honey Lake under tall pines. Would definitely stay here again.

For Honey Lake RV Park: Relatively good for cost. Nice sandy pull thru. Horses and goats in field nearby, fun for grandkid. Sandy road in good condition, not so good for scooter though! Some full time residents - very nice. Little store there, friendly folks. Wind can be a challenge!

For Honey Lake RV Park: Stayed one night. Nice site with sand and a picnic table, power and water. Really liked the place and the manager was cordial and informative. However at dark one of the permanent residents came by the trailer and informed us that the water was to be used only on a boil only policy. She asked if we were informed at check in which was not the case. Seemed like there was an issue about the water that the residential users were trying to resolve. We were self contained for water and this did not effect us but it could have been an issue if we had hooked up previous to the visit.
