For Diaz Lake County Park Campground: Beautiful setting with fairly large lots. We came on a Wednesday for 3 nights and we were the only campers for 2 nights, but more campers came on Friday afternoon. We were spaced out nicely. My favorite part of this location was that we got 2 bars on TMobile and we could still call and communicate with the outside world. We were in space 89 and used the spigot to the west. We backed our motor home so we can view the lovely lake and get the sunrise at 6:15 am!

For Diaz Lake County Park Campground: We will not stay here again. Camp has pretty views and the spot we were in (#112) was away from most campers. But it was so noisy from a large group of people partying loudly and using profanity until 4 a.m. that made sleeping impossible. This may have been a one-time issue but the fact that camp hosts did nothing was disturbing and irritating. Camp needed attention-trash scattered on the ground. We did not use the bathrooms so I can’t comment on them.

For Diaz Lake County Park Campground: Quiet and picturesque campground. Here on Oct 31st and only 6 other campers in the 200 spaces.

For Diaz Lake County Park Campground: For camping in the fall, it's not a bad place. You're basically alone there with wide open spaces. No hookups, but there is community water spigots in the campground. Lots of trees but they start to hibernate with the leaves falling off. Nights the temps get down in the 20's. In the summer time, it's too hot to camp. The lake itself is absolutely HORRIBLE for trout fishing. The water is stagnant and the few fish are NOT healthy. Avoid fishing and swimming there. The scenery is beautiful however. Nice quiet and lots of trails to go hiking on. Again, it's not too shabby for a quick and short getaway. Very relaxing with the family. Bring your bikes and EZ chairs!
