For Boulder Creek RV Resort: Boulder Creek had some pretty good reviews so we wanted to try it out with the kids, especially since they have a pool. We got there and the pool was closed for maintenance. Was the biggest reason for coming because it would be fun for the kids. There is a small playground in the back, not that exciting though. There is a basketball hoop close but forgot to bring a ball. Nothing really to do here except bake in the heat or stay in the camper. It’s a good spot for a stop but wouldn’t stay here except for a night to sleep.

For Boulder Creek RV Resort: Checked in here yesterday. Completely bogus advertising.
They don’t have Internet or cable. The cable doesn’t not work, spoke with office. They are getting a new service but are not sure when. Spent an hour trying to hook electric up to 30amp it would not work due to an “open ground†very dangerous. Maintenance person was well aware of this problem. Ended up hooking up to 50amp. We will not return to this campground.

For Boulder Creek RV Resort: I really liked this park. The site was stayed in was nice and wide and level. The folks in the office were helpful. The dog area was very nice - lots of room for our dog to run. We will definitely stay here again.

For Boulder Creek RV Resort: The grounds are kept beautifully. This is parking lot camping though. We don’t prefer sitting outside our coach and staring at the next guy’s rig.....too close for our comfort.

For Boulder Creek RV Resort: Boulder Creek RV Resort in Lone Pine California is located off highway 395 due east of the Sierra’s Mount Whitney. The location is the thing that makes this place stand-out. It is a good station to overnight while you are on your way to further destinations. If you plan to stay awhile then you can explore nature’s beauty such as the Alabama Foothills where many a movie has been made e.g. Tremors. Lone Pine indeed has a movie museum that gives you some history about movie making in the area. The RV park is a couple miles south of town. Lone Pine has an assortment of stores such as grocery, pharmacy and a sporting goods for fisherman; and restaurants or a McDonalds if you are in a hurry. The campground’s layout is tight, but nicely kept while offering full-service hookups with WIFI and cable. It is a well-organized with a good general store stocked with RV supplies. We liked the free morning coffee and muffins.

For Boulder Creek RV Resort: Was looking for dump sites. The guy was at least helpful but told us dump side was full.
