For Klamath Ranch Resort Blue Heron RV Park: Easy drive back in from the freeway to a lovely, quiet spot along the Klamath River. We stayed in late October so the colors were glorious. The park is spotlessly clean, and the folks are helpful, friendly, and considerate. Right before departing, we discovered we had a blown tire. The staff assured us we could stay until our help arrived at no extra charge. We appreciated their kind response and are planning a return trip.

For Klamath Ranch Resort Blue Heron RV Park: If you are looking for a restful place to sit and enjoy the river, this is a great place. Spaces are cement and level. You front in because of where the hookups are located. Nice laundry with snacks and ice for sale on an honor system. Bathrooms are clean. Showers nice with common dressing room. Ok WiFi which can be upgraded for minimal cost. Can kayak or float and for a cost, hosts will pick you up. Fishing available. No hiking as all the surrounding land is private property. Hosts are pleasant and helpful. The wind can come up in the afternoon, so watch your awning. We liked spaces 9,10,11,12,13,14 the best.

For Klamath Ranch Resort Blue Heron RV Park: Nice place! Easy access from I-5, friendly check in. New owners as of 2018 and they’ve made many quality improvements. Level pads, 30 and 50 amp service, good WiFi. Decent space between pads, and green grass down to the river which is the main attraction. (Lesson learned: leave the party lights off or else the bugs will come inside.) Heated floor in the shower building. Honor refrigerator and freezer with Ben and Jerry’s! The road is kinda crappy but it was well worth slowing down to get here. Super easy close to a nice reservoir. We’ll be back!

For Klamath Ranch Resort Blue Heron RV Park: If you’re looking for an RV park in the middle of a casino parking lot with a water slide park and Ferris wheel next to the freeway, this place is not for you.
However, if you’re looking for large concrete pads surrounded by acres of well maintained grass next to a rambling river miles from the incessant freeway noise, this is the place for you. I understand that the salmon are beginning to run in the Klamath if you’re into fishing.
You will seldom find such a nice park. Definitely worth the $.

For Klamath Ranch Resort Blue Heron RV Park: This is NOT a resort. It is a nice campground near the river. Clean and well kept but no resort amenities. Definitely not worth $60 a night.

For Klamath Ranch Resort Blue Heron RV Park: Blue Heron fits the perfect definition of Hidden Gem. It is the nicest most restful and pleasant park we have visited during our 2 year adventure. Sites are large and uniquely spaced to provide gorgeous panoramic views of the babbling Klamath River and surrounding rolling hills. Under new management, the owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Gorgeous park in all respects.

For Klamath Ranch Resort Blue Heron RV Park: Blue Heron was one we had wanted to stop at for some time. Last weekend we had our chance after being invited to a nearby friend's ranch for dinner. Although late fall, the colors were still spectacular. We virtually had the place to ourselves - I think only 3 or 4 sites were occupied. A gracious reception in the office and our choice of sites for our class C and toad. We picked a beautiful, level all concrete site right along the Klamath River. Perfectly level, large patio area with picnic table - nearby bathrooms & laundry! Lots of deer came by in the evening and wild horses in the morning! All in all, a beautiful spot. Very limited cellular and the WiFi is spotty - but you are in the middle of no-where so that's ok. If you want signal, drive a few minutes down the road!
Too bad the restaurant was/is closed - that would have made a great addition! Hopefully they can open again one day...
Here's a video I shot while there...
