For Elk Creek Campground and RV Park: Booked reservation was the only reason we stayed here. Plus the fact it was already Friday evening when we arrived. Their website would win any "Dishonesty & BS Award" around. "Rated #1 Rural Park on the West Coast" it says. Best use of selective photos, ever. They are cheap, $50 a night, but price isn't everything. The campground area might be OK, but the two cabins they have are downright scary! We stayed in the "Bear Cabin". It was clean, but very small, cramped, the mattress wasn't too bad. Heater didn't work, we turned on the oven on the small electric range. Outside the place is filthy! Old broken down travel trailer & junk Chevy S10 Blazer, with flat tires, stuff piled on it was next to our cabin. Broken steps up from parking spot, with debris laying about, around cabin. I swear I think I smelled meth cooking. We were very concerned about break in of our vehicle. We couldn't leave fast enough Saturday morning. We could hear banjos playing as we drove off....
