For Camp Chiquita Campground: I have called a minimum of 10 times between the two numbers provided. I have emailed several times. Absolutely no responses what so ever. Not even a courtesy call back.

For Camp Chiquita Campground: We drove to this campground today to review as a possible location for our next month of camping. Although we won't be staying there, thought I'd put a CAUTION out to everyone else looking to stay there. First the good we saw: Tall trees and shade...Okay, now for what scared us off: the park is filled with mostly permanents, typically not a problem for us but these sites reminded me of many 3rd world cities I've been to. Not to say the people aren't nice - but we didn't see any out to talk to. Another attention getter were all the signs for "no illegal drug use allowed." Made my wife and I wonder why they were posted. Lastly, we have a 40' rig and while the site boundaries were difficult to see, we didn't see any thing close to supporting our size. If you're thinking about staying here...defiantly drive there first (no kidding).
