For Richardson Campground and RV Park: These are the nicest people I have met so far as camp managers! We were in the area, looking for a place to stay in even though they had old mediocre reviews we decided to pull in, and what a nice treat! The grounds were clean, the price was right, nice and quiet and no highway noise. I would absolutely recommend this place if you are traveling along the highway 101 near Garberville

Tacosaurus 
For Richardson Campground and RV Park: Back in October we stayed at Richardson. We had a hard time finding the place, passing it several times because the sign blew down in the spring in a major wind storm. So 6 months and putting no effort into getting a sign back up should tell you something. The shower house has not had a deep clean in many YEARS. The staff was not present on check in or check out. We pulled into site #1 and we were long overdue for a tank dump. Guess what? Immediate turd flood, the sewer hookup does not drain. NO WARNING SIGN FOR THAT EITHER? I get it, the folks that own this place simply don't care. Super obvious. SO PLEASE SELL THE PLACE, YOU DON'T DESERVE IT. It has potential with new owners that care about what they do.

For Richardson Campground and RV Park: Camping here in the winter months is not advised. Very cold. Out buildings are not heated - especially the bathrooms. The tremendous amount of rain causes everything to be cold, damp and muddy. The staff was friendly and helped us find a more suitable campground for us older folks that had heated bathrooms and rec room.

For Richardson Campground and RV Park: It's an older park that could use a little work. But people were great in office and sites were pretty level for forest type camping. Would stay again. PS think Aug will have a Reggae Festival near here. Music and Humbolt county sounds like a mix......
