For Pomo RV Park and Campground: Overall a nice park. I agree with the other reviews on checks and cash; seems in today’s technology advances they could allow for online reservations and credit cards. Additionally, the WiFi was terrible... even with a strong WiFi signal, it didn’t work. My perspective is don’t offer WiFi if you can’t ensure a strong signal throughout the park.

For Pomo RV Park and Campground: First of all, we chose this park from its Good Sam rating of 9/10*/10. Thought it odd that when making reservations, you had to call, call, call due to no answer or instant busy signal. Second, the don’t do credit cards...cash or check...which has to be mailed in. No email either...they snail mail you your confirmation. This doesn’t work if you are on the road. Their billboard advertises they are the best park in the area. Well if they are, avoid them. Yes, the park is big, yes you have some privacy sites, but their internet is awful, and I mean awful. Half the time it drops you or is unavailable. Cell service is terrible in Fort Bragg for Verizon. To say we were disappointed was an understatement all because we are use to a 9 and 10 star Good Sam rating meaning a clean nice big facility with stuff. How they got this rating is beyond me. You pay $4 extra for 50 amp per night. The sites aren’t all that level and most are back ins. There is a lot of dust and overgrown shrubbery, which is there site privacy. My allergies have been terrible since arriving. Their cable for cable TV is okay tho. No sure what the attraction to this area is. We are native Californians and have wanted to come up this way but now that we have...been there done that, and frankly wouldn’t recommend you bother. The roads to here from the North, South, and West are two layers and full or curves, some extremely tight. Take yourself somewhere else. And the one thing I learned is I am going to Google Earth every reservation from now on to see a birds eye view. Had I done that, we wouldn’t have been there, and wouldn’t have lost a day of prepay due to our leaving early to go somewhere fun and better.

For Pomo RV Park and Campground: Excellent RV Park. Lot's of trees and privacy. Nice bathrooms and showers. BUT, the WiFi service didn't work at our site #83 and there is almost no cellphone service either. Other than that it's a great RV Park. Yes, I would stay there again.

For Pomo RV Park and Campground: Quiet. Wooded. Big spaces with great privacy. Nice owners. WiFi worked just fine. Plenty of bird life. Will be back. Restrooms and showers were clean and well kept.

Marcia

For Pomo RV Park and Campground: We had an excellent 6 night stay at this beautiful park. The folks in the office were nice and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in site 48 which was beautiful, and extremely private and quiet, however no sewer here. The bathrooms and laundry were very nice, although we did not use the pay showers. The wifi is very marginal, as is the case in so many RV parks. We purchased a load of firewood, and it was delivered free of charge to our campsite. This would be a nice spot for a group, as there is a convenient meeting room that looked quite nice. We checked out the other area parks while there, and this was by far the very nicest. Perhaps it's a little inconvenient to have to mail in a deposit check, and pay with cash or check, but this great park is worth it.

For Pomo RV Park and Campground: Pomo Campground

Stayed 10/25-31/2017
This Campground is absolutely beautiful. Most of the sites are secluded within hedges. The park offers a huge center grass area for fun. Great locations for large rigs. We have a 42' 5th wheel and our site #4 is huge.

The employees and staff are great. Beware of negative reviews when it comes to staff enforcing the rules. The owner has not and will not pull a knife on anyone. I laughed when I read that one. They do enforce the rules of the park but that is so you'll have a great stay with children.

Every site is cleaned and raked when a coach leaves. That makes your site beautiful upon arrival.

Only negative for us as full timers is the wifi is terrible. Worst park we've been to. For camping, get off your internet and enjoy camping. Oh, we had enough wood for camp fires for 5 days for only $35.

The absolutely best RV park we have found in Fort Bragg.

For Pomo RV Park and Campground: I'm not sure what all the good ratings are about?! That's why I chose this place but pretty disappointed. I hate it when a place gets great ratings and you arrive and are like, huh, really?! I should have known to move on when they said to mail a check for the deposit. And when you arrive, have cash or a checkbook. They don't take credit cards, good grief, really? That extra processing fee must be killing 'em. Then I realized the night before our arrival that I never received a confirmation. You know why? Snail mail! They mailed it to my house!! I've been on the road for 2 months, I'm not receiving snail mail. Our site was level enough, that's about it. We have yet to use the cable as there is a rusted leftover piece on it that we can't get off to attach our cable line to. We were charged $10 extra/day for two kids and there was a charge for the dog too. The showers, coin operated, not included in the fee, really?! You want 50 amp, extra. Nickel and dime you to death. They're getting all my money but never asked me if I was a Good Sam's member so I could get a little break. If you don't want to offer it, don't participate, that simple. Glad we're only here for a couple of nights. Wish it was only one, smh. Never again.
