For Travis AFB FamCamp: My husband and I originally had reservations for ten days at Travis Fam Camp and the day before we were set to leave had a problem with out slide out. Stephanie worked with us to add days to our stay until our rig was fixed. She went above and beyond to meet our needs. The bath house was meticulous, the grounds were clean and well kept. The proximity to the exchange and commissary could not be better. The cherry on top of our stay was the car wash next door had a beautiful RV wash with stairs on each side. Five Stars!!

AF2005

For Travis AFB FamCamp: Stayed for 60 days over Christmas and thanksgiving. Close to base exchange and commissary! It's right inside the main gate so you get a lot of traffic noise. The laundromat was nice and clean. Campgrounds is divided into two sections?one for the people with pets and a section for people without pets. It can be a challenge to back into your spot depending on where the office puts you. The camp host has been here forever and needs to move on. He has a bad attitude and is rude to everyone that he comes in contact with. But overall a good stay and close to grandkids!

Henry

For Travis AFB FamCamp: 3stars... only because it is not "big rig friendly ". As in... we have 40 foot motor home with 4 slide outs and the bottom doors open off the slides.. the gravel pad is barely "wide and long" enough to accommodate the BIG rig.. . Therefore, your slide outs, hang over the grass, so you have to walk on the wet grass... and the bushes on the driver side do not allow enough space to open the utility compartments... and in the no pet zone, you have to walk through wet, sprinkle wet grass to your car and around the rig...Otherwise friendly office lady, Kaylie... and beautiful base and neighborhood....

Fred

For Travis AFB FamCamp: A nice camp on Travis Air Force Base. If you're a pet owner, you can expect to be in the lower less desirable spots. If you don't have a pet your in a beautiful grassy, (unmoved) spot. It's the difference between night an day. I've been here 30 days and I haven't seen any work being done to keep the camp clean. I tried to volunteer my time to help out, all I needed was a shovel to pick up dog doo and was told I needed to fill out a Volunteer Application because I would need a Security Clearance. The pet owners don't clean up their pet droppings and the Host doesn't enforce it. Be careful where you walk. Other than that, it will accommodate all big rigs. No pull through sites. You have to back in every spot. The camp is located next to the front gate and the sounds of cars an motorcycles will wake you up in the morning around 05:00 am during the work week. You will also wake up to the refreshing sound of reveille each morning from the base speakers. Retreat (National Anthem) is played every afternoon at 16:30. Lets not forget Taps at 22:00. It's awesome to hear those tunes everyday. The BX and Commissary are within walking distance. You will feel very safe here as I saw the Base Police drive through here numerous times. None of the spots that I could tell would accommodate a Handicap person. I was told that the bathrooms are very clean and the showers are handicap friendly. The park has Wifi and Comcast. In order to get Comcast Cable you have to drive off post about 10 miles to sign up for cable. They offer about 150 free cable stations withe the cable box. Your neighbors here are very friendly the speed limit in camp I 5 mph. Be very careful because those friendly neighbors will complain to the host if you don't follow the rules. For the most part, I had a nice stay.

For Travis AFB FamCamp: It was nice and surprisingly quiet when I was there. Clean and everything was functional. Nothing spectacular but a overall happy stay.
