For Castaic Lake RV Park: Called in reservation and I was able to get the water and electric over flow site which was at the entrance to the park. Contactless check in was great and so convenient. The restrooms were very clean, showers were clean, as well, separate male and female bathrooms. Amenities included onsite store, dump station, and pool. Overall, a nice park for an over night, quiet and away from the freeway traffic noise. There were a few restaurants, gas stations, and convenience stores nearby. Priced under $60/night, good deal for southern CA. Would stay here again, if need.

For Castaic Lake RV Park: Made a reservation online and when we checked in was given a different space, right in front of the office where a ton of park traffic goes by all day and evening. According to a long term resident we met in the pretty nice hot tub (pool was nice, clean as well), 95%+ occupants are long term. The check in guy said the online reservation didn’t guarantee a spot... Showers were clean and had food hot water. Our next door neighbor was VERY permanent, with a party tent, several patio furnishings tons of crap, and our hookups were literally touching the back of the party tent. All in all ok for a quick night stay but nothing like they advertise.

For Castaic Lake RV Park: Very unfriendly. Very unorganized. Police activity. Expensive.
