For Cabelas: The former RV parking lot on south side of store now barricaded off. Appears to have been that way for awhile as there’s grass growing in paving cracks. But there is a large truck parking lot to be he north of the store. Entrance is near the Comfort Inn hotel. Were a number of semis and a couple RVs when I arrived around 5 pm. So did not ask permission

For Cabelas: Safe place to stay. About an hour from Mall of America. The dump station and water can’t be used anymore per the store.

For Cabelas: Not a bad place to get a nights sleep. We asked inside and were told to park on the south end behind the boats. Parking lot not set up great for RV’s. There was a large semi parking area nearby but not sure if that is Cabela’s property or not. No hook ups and not too far off the highway so expect some road noise. Overall not a bad place for a quick stop over.

For Cabelas: Stayed Aug 20. Large lot on south end with dump station ($5) and potable water. Lot is pretty level, the shows a little age. Mildly distant highway noise but few other RVs in the lot so not much traffic in the lot itself. Overnight stay on road trip worked very well. Gas, food and morning caribou coffee nearby. Keeping this spot in mind for future adventures.

For Cabelas: Stopped at the halfway home from the U.P. of Michigan. Used the dump site for $5. The kiosk is fixed and works great. There is drinkable water and had the whole place to ourselves. The Manager said to park in the far south lot by the dump station. She said stay as long as we wanted, but we were just staying the night. The lot is level, and asphalt. Highway noise was tolerable. Great place to stay.

For Cabelas: Very large lot for RVs, plenty of level spots along the edge, no one used the marked spots and parked along edge to put out slides. Great overnight option.
